YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP JMDS RETURN TO THE STUDIO
STRONGER THAN EVER!

Who would have thought our world would literally be turned upside down overnight.

Classes were going great, students were dancing with their friends and enjoying new
choreography and in some cases, new instructors. Parents would often sit in the lobby
enjoying some “adult conversation time” as their younger children played with their friends. I
personally looked forward to seeing parents at both East Northport and Plainview studio
locations to catch up on all the latest news in their lives. Students were excited to get their
costumes and dance with their props in preparation for recital.

My JMDS staff is the best! Miss Alexis, Miss Allison, Miss Amanda, Miss Carolyn, Miss Dana,
Miss Denise, Miss Fran, Miss Haruno, Mr. Ian, Miss Jackie, Miss Jillian, Mr. Joey, Miss Julianna,
Miss Karey, Miss Lenore, Miss Lois, Miss Marisa, Miss Missy, Miss Nancy, Miss Sarah M,
Miss Sara Jean, Miss Tammy. If I could not visit all classes at both studios, I was confident my
teachers and receptionists had everything under control.
My Customers would always check in with their receptionist and treated them with kindness
and respect often asking “I know I owe for something”

In all my years teaching and directing a studio, my students were my shining light. They are
the reason I love what I do. When everything came to a screeching halt in mid - March, my
first thought was my students being so disappointed if they couldn’t have a recital they
worked so hard for all season long and also knew my priority was to keep a sense of normalcy
in their lives.

My Staff and I went full speed ahead planning Zoom classes, thinking of new and creative ways
to teach our students and still work toward a recital. Most parents were so supportive and to
say thank you would be an understatement. You had to home school your children, work
from home and get them on their zoom dance classes which let’s be honest, was a challenge
at times to say the least. But we all worked through it. Because…….That’s what families do!

Wishing my JMDS family health and happiness. See you next season!

With Love
Miss Roe

grateful for coming here and all the times we have had in the studio and at the first competition. I wish we
could have had the whole season but I am grateful for those times we did have together. I miss and love all of
you so much. Love, Celeste

Dear Dance Friends – Thank you so much for everything. Dance is always so much fun with all of you guys. I

positive. We will continue to grow and go far as a company and as a team. We are going to get through this.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR GRADUATING COMPETITION SENIORS

It doesn’t seem possible to condense our many years of dancing into one short paragraph. We are all so grateful
that we have been able to spend so much of our time dancing together, and we are so sad to see the season end.
With the constant support of our teachers and parents, we have all had the privilege of watching each other grow not
only as dancers, but as people. We have made so many memories both on and off stage and it is hard to believe that we
are moving on and starting new chapters in our lives. We have laughed together, cried together, and everything in
between. Throughout the years, we have grown so close and become a family. This will be one of the hardest goodbyes
we will ever have to make, but we will always remember the amazing experiences we have had together. We are so
grateful for the amazing people that we have met, and we will always remember our time at JMDS. We cannot even
begin to explain the heartbroken feeling we all have because this has to come to an end. From the stressful practices
to the fun competitions, we have been there for each other through all of it. The relationships we have had with each
other have been unbreakable since the beginning. People come and go, but dance friends are the people we will stay
connected with forever. The experiences we shared together and the memories we have formed over the years are
unforgettable. Even if we don’t see each other every other day the way we did for the last decade and a half, our
relationships with each other will stay strong. Competing with each other throughout all these years has taught us
about teamwork, maturity and positive attitudes, even if things don’t go our way. At the end of the day, what is most
important is that we are here for each other and we have each other’s backs no matter what. We cannot thank
everyone enough for all of the good times, support, memories and most importantly, the love you have all shown us.
We know that our JMDS family is forever, and we can’t wait to come back to visit.

We love you all so much!
Kim, Kayla, Samantha & Emma

and see you all real soon! X0X0X0X0 Miss Missy

To my JMDS students - I did not expected the last time we were all together at the studio would be the last

classes. You all have been doing so well and have made me so proud. I want to give you all a big thanks, not
