Removing Barriers

Advocating locally, on the Hill, and with regulators for you and your members.

Credit unions represent nearly 1 million Connecticut residents and over 100 million
Americans nationwide. The Credit Union League of Connecticut works locally and nationally
representing credit unions’ best interests. Our recent work included the passage of prize-
linked savings legislation and getting state chartered credit unions a state sales tax
exemption, giving parody with federally chartered credit unions. This decision by
Connecticut’s legislature helped ensure that Connecticut’s credit unions remain a strong
viable financial partner for consumers.
