Cinderella lived with her wicked
stepmother and two ugly stepsisters.
They made her dress in rags and do
all the housework. One day, a letter
arrived.

“It’s an invitation from the palace!” Page2
cried her ugly stepsisters.There was
to be a royal ball for the whole
kingdom,but her stepsisters wouldn’t
let her go.

Cinderella longed to go to the ball,
then in and a flash,her fairy
godmother appeared. “ You shall go to
the ball!” she cried, swishing her
wand.

carriage and her shoes into glass
slippers. “The magic ends at
midnight,”she said.

When Cinderella arrived at the
palace,the prince fell in love with her
instantly and they danced all
night.Before long,the clock struck
twelve.

Cinderella fled from the palace,
leaving only her glass slipper. “I will
marry the girl whose foot fits into the
slipper,” said the heartbroken prince.
