STRATEGIES IN ORAL PRESENTATION

● DEVELOPING CONFIDENCE

Nervousness at the start of a speech is normal and even desirable.

• Your body is producing the extra adrenaline shot as a common reaction to a
stressful event.

Think of stage fright as stage enthusiasm or stage excitement

Turn your negative feelings into positive force

What matters most is how you deal with nervousness to make it
works for you rather than against you.

1. Acquire speaking
experience

- Enroll yourself into public speaking course. Like
many other skills, you learn to improve the speech

- The course is a healthy, practical arena for you to acquire and sharpen the
skills.
