Salam Geopark!!
Hello Geopark Youth Around the World!!
Geopark is an integrated geographical area that has geodiversity, biodiversity,
and cultural diversity. Geopark development is a part of the implementation of
realizing sustainable development goals at local, national, and global levels. The
various aspect, pillar, and function of geopark development create collaboration
spaces for youth. Youth will become agents of collaborators and innovators in the
geopark developments to realize sustainable development.

Indonesia has 6 Unesco Global Geoparks, 13 National Geoparks, and various
aspiring geoparks. The diversity of geopark in Indonesia and the high enthusiasm of
geopark youth in every region in Indonesia are united under the auspices of the
Indonesia Geopark Youth Forum (IGYF). IGYF functions as a communication and
collaboration forum for geopark youth at the national level.

Indonesia Geopark's Youth Magazine (IGYM) second edition will introduce IGYF
and the diversity of geopark in Indonesia to all the youth and geopark lovers in the
world. The second edition of IGYM contains IGYF in general, interesting stories about
various geopark in Indonesia, games, tips and tricks about geopark development,
tourism, and environment. This magazine will become a geopark educational media
for all youth in the world to participate in loving the earth, the environment, and
culture to encourage the role of youth as an agent of change in realizing sustainable
development.

ever thought how the beautiful Island of the Gods came to be? It

of the island, and it involves a powerful priest, his son, and a
dragon!
