Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is a comprehensive
emergency, medical and surgical acute care facility,
serving the residents of St. Petersburg and the
surrounding Gulf Coast communities for more than
100 years. Becoming part of the Orlando Health
organization in October 2020, Bayfront Health
St. Petersburg is poised to build upon the strong
reputation it has earned over the years.

The 480-bed hospital provides a complete continuum of care, with
advanced technology and expertise in numerous specialties, including
cardiology, neuroscience, obstetrics, orthopedics, surgery, emergency and
trauma, and acute rehabilitation. Recognized for elevated care, the hospital
has earned designations as a Level II Trauma Center — the only adult
trauma center in Pinellas County, Level 2 Adult Cardiovascular Service
hospital, Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Center,
and holds certifications in Hip and Knee Replacement. Bayfront Health
St. Petersburg Baby Place offers full obstetrical care and, in partnership
with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, is a state-certified Level III
Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center. The hospital also offers a variety
of outpatient services, including imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation,
cardiovascular and wound care. For urgent and emergency care, CareSpot
Urgent Care – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and Bayfront Health
St. Petersburg Emergency Room – Pinellas Park offer convenient locations
for care where and when it’s needed.
Recognized with many patient-care quality and safety ratings over the
years, the hospital also was named a Best Hospital in the Tampa Bay Times
2021 Readers’ Choice Awards, a reflection of a continued commitment to
providing the highest quality of care — a commitment we feel privileged to

Meet the CNO

Lorraine Parker, MSN, RN, CENP, is the chief nursing officer at Bayfront
Health St. Petersburg, leading the hospital’s nursing vision, strategic
direction and delivery of care. She is focused on continually enhancing the
culture of providing quality patient care that is evident at Bayfront Health
St. Petersburg.
Lorraine began her career as a nursing assistant at Orlando Health Arnold
Palmer Hospital for Children. Over nearly three decades, she served in
various nursing leadership roles at Orlando Health, including nursing
operations manager and patient care administrator.

“I’m proud to lead a team that is committed
to creating a Culture of Caring. At Bayfront
Health St. Petersburg, we want to inspire
our team members to be the best nurse
they can be while pursuing the career path
that is closest to their heart. With so many
