Together we Shape the FDear Friends and Colleagues,It is with profound gratitude and purpose that I share this year’s reflections on the remarkable progress and enduring promise of Orlando Health Cancer Institute. Since our founding in 1991, Orlando Health Cancer Institute has grown into one of the most comprehensive and innovative cancer centers in the Southeastern United States. Guided by our mission to deliver hope, healing and unwavering support to every individual touched by cancer we remain steadfast in our commitment across every patient encounter, research initiative and strategic investment. Today, we serve more than 30,000 patients each year and are supported by a multidisciplinary team of more than 176 oncology specialists and a robust portfolio of more than 148 active clinical trials. These numbers represent not only our scale but the depth of our dedication to excellence. This past year, we have built upon our legacy of pioneering care. Our downtown Orlando campus, anchored by the Charles Lewis Pavilion, remains the heart of our institute – a place where all essential services converge under one roof. This integrated, patient-centered model of care now extends across Central Florida, ensuring patients receive exceptional treatment close to home.Advancing Care with Purpose We are proud to be Central Florida’s only cancer center offering proton therapy and the first in Florida to implement ViewRay, an MRI-guided linear accelerator that enhances the precision of radiation delivery. Our leadership in cellular therapies, including bone marrow transplant, CAR-T and Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy for melanoma positions the Institute at the forefront of immuno-oncology. Notably, we were the first in the nation to offer TIL therapy for melanoma, underscoring our resolve to advance tomorrow’s treatments for our patients today. Looking forward, our priorities are clear – deepen our investment in precision medicine, expand access for underserved communities, and strengthen our research infrastructure. We are unwavering in our commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and compassion. These values define our institution and reflect the diverse needs of those we serve.4BeforeStapleAfterStaple

A Year of Measurable Progress I am pleased to highlight some key achievements from this past year which were made possible by the extraordinary dedication and ingenuity of our team. • Our Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program, established in 2006, was approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) to add three new fellowship positions, expanding from six to nine positions and broadening opportunities to train the next generation of oncology leaders.•In 2023, our Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program earned accreditation from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) for both adult allogeneic and autologous hematopoietic progenitor cell therapies. To date, our team has performed more than 400 transplants and cellular therapy infusions. Our solid tumor cellular therapy program was recognized as the world’s first to offer compassionate TIL therapy and the second in Florida to provide this therapy commercially after FDA approval. In 2025, the program celebrated its third consecutive year of successful one-year survival outcomes, as reported by the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), and was distinguished as one of just eight United States transplant centers to perform better than expected, out of 172 centers nationwide.• Our thoracic surgery team leads the nation in patient volume treated with the ION Bronchoscopy platform for navigation, accelerating lung cancer diagnosis and setting new standards in thoracic care. • Our microsurgery team became the first in the region to re-establish sensation to breast skin after mastectomy, utilizing advanced microsurgical techniques and cadaveric nerve allografts to neurotize deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flaps.• Multiple programs were named High Performing by U.S. News & World Report for 2025-2026, including Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Colon Cancer Surgery, Gynecological Cancer Surgery, Lung Cancer Surgery, Prostate Cancer Surgery and Pulmonology and Lung Surgery.Innovation at our Core and Looking AheadIn Clinical Research, we welcomed Dr. Jad Chahoud as our new chief scientific and innovation officer to propel our research mission forward. We achieved a clinical trial accrual rate exceeding 6% annually, surpassing the Commission on Cancer’s requirements and ensuring more patients benefit from cutting-edge therapies. Our clinical trials office also launched its inaugural PostConference Pipeline Engagement Program event, deepening collaboration and accelerating clinical innovation.• Among our new initiatives is a dedicated Leukemia Program to address acute patient needs and reduce hospital stays. • In November 2025, we opened a new cancer center at Orlando Health Medical Pavilion at Institute Square in St. Petersburg, broadening our reach and impact to more communities across Florida. Our community outreach expanded survivorship programs to offer holistic support addressing the physical, emotional and practical challenges faced by patients and their loved ones. Our education initiatives reached new milestones, with multidisciplinary symposiums and training sessions, nurturing the next generation of oncology professionals. Looking ahead, our ambitions are bold, and our goals are clear – to bring tomorrow’s cancer therapies to our patients today. We are committed to continually enhancing our clinical trials portfolio, advancing first-in-human therapies within our community, and extending our services throughout Central Florida and into Brevard County. This year, we are poised to treat our first sickle cell anemia patient with gene therapy – a milestone that reaffirms our dedication to innovation and equity in care.As we strive ever higher, we draw inspiration from the engagement and unwavering commitment of our providers and staff, whose passion fuels our achievements. Breast Care CenterA Leader in Collaborative and Personalized Care Orlando Health Cancer Institute Breast Care Center continues its tradition of excellence by providing high-quality, personalized care for patients with breast cancer, as well as those at highrisk for breast cancer and other complex breast conditions. For each patient, their specific type of breast cancer, cancer stage and goals for treatment and health maintenance are evaluated. Nutrition, exercise, psychosocial health and financial counseling are considered part of a holistic, optimized treatment plan for each patient.Individualized treatment plans utilize genomics and multidisciplinary evaluations. For many, this means the potential to de-escalate from historic treatment recommendations, but for some the opportunity to be more aggressive early in the effort to achieve a good outcome. More importantly, our team tailors recommendations to the individual, to reduce treatment intensity and toxicities, while maintaining optimal clinical outcomes and quality of life. Patient Services Customer ExperienceOur customer experience team at Orlando Health Cancer Institute has been dedicated to supporting patients and families throughout their journey by working closely with both clinical and non-clinical partners. In 2025, we focused on building our waiting area rounding program, with customer service specialists rounding daily across our Downtown Campus to provide comfort and connect patients with needed services. We plan to expand this program further.Initiatives like the Patient Experience Ambassador Committee (PEAC) and the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) have helped create a culture of compassion, communication and teamwork. Moving forward, we aim to strengthen service recovery processes, advance feedback-driven education, and develop innovative ways to recognize and support our team members. In 2025, approximately 30,000 patients received help through the waiting area rounding program. The PEAC had 18 active members representing six locations, and our service recovery efforts addressed more than 90% of patient concerns within five days. What began as a small pilot in 2023 has since expanded, with dedicated specialists rounding daily in outpatient waiting areas at the downtown Orlando Health Cancer Institute and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies – Women’s Institute oncology floor. Our “You Make A Difference” recognition programcontinued in 2025, celebrating team members who made a positive impact on patients and families. Guided by patient feedback and stories of exceptional care, this program continues to encourage behavior that reflects our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered service.Oncology TransportationThe Oncology Transportation program supported 7,126 ride requests in FY25, successfully completing 6,978 rides, achieving a strong 91.9% fulfillment rate. Only 5.6% of requests utilized Lyft, reflecting increased internal capacity and improved coordination through our internal transportation resources. Cancellations accounted for 2.6% of total requests, remaining within an acceptable operational range. Monthly trends show consistently high completion volumes, with peak activity in August (701 completed) and September (716 completed). Despite fluctuations in demand, the team maintained stable operational performance, a monthly average of 582, and successfully met or approached monthly goals throughout the year. The Lyft trend demonstrates a strategic decline in external rides, aligning with budget stewardship and effective utilization of internal resources. Overall, the transportation service continues to demonstrate reliability, cost-conscious stewardship, and operational consistency in meeting patient access needs across the Orlando Health Cancer Institute.0200100300400500600700800Oct-24 Nov-24 Dec-24 Jan-25 Feb-25 Mar-25 Apr-25 May-25 Jun-25 Jul-25 Aug-25 Sep-25Transportation Requests and Requests CompletedGoal = 562510499 479474626613 597582 560544598573670657506496 503496643628701 701733716Transportation RequestsRequestsCompleted Goal48BeforeStapleAfterStaple

Integrative MedicineThe Integrative Medicine program continues to advance our mission of delivering whole-person cancer care by integrating evidence-based holistic therapies with conventional oncology treatments. In 2025, the program served hundreds of patients and caregivers, offering services that address physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. In September 2025, the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) reaffirmed Orlando Health Cancer Institute’s commitment to excellence in patientcentered care through its re-accreditation review. Our Integrative Medicine program was highlighted as a model for holistic cancer care, earning a rating of “strength” for its innovative approach to addressing the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of patients. The review specifically described our psychosocial policies and procedures related to distress screenings as “outstanding,” reflecting the department’s dedication to evidence-based practices and comprehensive support services. This recognition underscores our leadership in integrating complementary therapies with conventional cancer treatments, ensuring patients receive care that promotes overall well-being and enhances quality of life throughout the cancer journey. Patient feedback consistently reflects improved quality of life, reduced treatment-related distress and stronger community and social connections. The department will continue to innovate by expanding digital wellness resources and increasing accessibility to complementary therapies for all patients and caregivers.Specialized Clinical Psychology ServicesFor more than a decade, our department has emphasized the importance of psychosocial support through individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, patient and caregiver support groups, and distress monitoring. This year, it welcomed a specialized clinical psychology team to address the complex psychoemotional and neurobehavioral needs of our cancer patients. Specialty clinics now provide evaluations and interventions for patients requiring neuropsychological, presurgical, pretreatment, and high-risk support.50BeforeStapleAfterStaple
