ชุดกิจกรรมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ เรื่อง “Easy English with ASEAN ของนักเรียนชั้น ประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก เป็นการเรียนรู้ ที่เน้นนักเรียนเป็นส าคัญ ส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน มุ่งให้ผู้เรียนลงมือ ปฏิบัติ โดยมีครูเป็นผู้อ านวยความสะดวก ให้ค าปรึกษา ดูแล และแนะน า นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้ตามขั้นตอน การอ่านแบบเมอร์ด๊อค (MIA) โดยมีล าดับขั้นการสอนคือ ค าถามน าก่อนการอ่าน การให้ความรู้ ด้าน ค าศัพท์ การอ่านและวิเคราะห์เรื่อง การท าความเข้าใจเนื้อเรื่อง การถ่ายโอนข้อมูลการท า แบบฝึกหัดต่อ ชิ้นส่วนประโยคและเรียงโครงสร้างอนุเฉท การประเมินผล และการแก้ไขข้อผิดพลาด ซึ่งเป็นไป ตามล าดับเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านเป็นหลัก มีเนื้อหาเหมาะสมกับวัยของผู้เรียน ง่ายต่อการจดจ า และ สามารถน าไปใช้ในชีวิตประจ าวันได้ ประกอบด้วยชุดกิจกรรมการอ่าน จ านวน 10 ชุด คือ ชุดที่ 1 Brunei Darussalam ชุดที่ 2 Thailand ชุดที่ 3 Vietnam ชุดที่ 4 Laos ชุดที่ 5 Malaysia ชุดที่ 6 Philippines ชุดที่ 7 Myanmar ชุดที่ 8 Singapore ชุดที่ 9 Cambodia ชุดที่ 10 Indonesia ผู้จัดท าหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่า ชุดกิจกรรมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ เรื่อง “Easy English with ASEAN ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อนักเรียนและครูผู้สอนที่จะน าไปจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ ได้บรรลุตามตัวชี้วัดและ มาตรฐานการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ (ภาษาอังกฤษ) ตามหลักสูตรได้เป็นอย่างดี เบญจมาศ ทองอ่ า

การถามน าก่อนการอ่าน (Priming Questions) คือ การถามค าถามก่อน การเรียน เกี่ยวกับเรื่องที่จะอ่าน เพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นให้นักเรียนสนใจเรื่องที่จะอ่าน การท าความเข้าใจค าศัพท์ (Understanding Vocabulary) คือ การศึกษา ค าศัพท์ที่ปรากฏอยู่ในเรื่องและหาความหมายของค าศัพท์เพื่อให้นักเรียนมีความเข้าใจใน การอ่าน เนื้อเรื่องมากขึ้น การอ่านเนื้อเรื่อง (Reading the Text) คือ ขั้นการอ่านเนื้อเรื่องแล้ววิเคราะห์ ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค าถามกับค าสรรพนามในเนื้อเรื่อง ตอบค าถามเกี่ยวกับเรื่องที่อ่านเพื่อ กระตุ้นและส่งเสริมความเข้าใจในการอ่าน รวมถึงฝึกการคิดวิเคราะห์ขณะอ่าน การท าความเข้าใจเนื้อเรื่อง (Understanding the Text) คือ การตรวจสอบ ความเข้าใจในการอ่านของนักเรียนโดยให้นักเรียนตอบคาถามหรือเติมข้อความปลายเปิด ให้สมบูรณ์โดยใช้ภาษาของตนเอง การถ่ายโอนข้อมูล (Transferring Information) คือกิจกรรมที่นักเรียนน าความรู้ ที่ ได้รับจากการอ่านมาเขียนในรูปแบบอื่น เช่น ตาราง แผนภูมิ หรือรูปภาพตามความ เหมาะสมของข้อมูลเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการอ่านของนักเรียน การท าแบบฝึกหัดต่อชิ้นส่วนประโยค (Jigsaw Exercise and Paragraph Structure) คือกิจกรรมที่นักเรียนต้องเรียงประโยค เรื่องราว หรือเหตุการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ เนื้อเรื่องและน าประโยคมาเรียงต่อกันในรูปแบบของอนุเฉทให้ได้เนื้อเรื่องที่มีใจความ สมบูรณ์ต่อเนื่องกัน การประเมินผลและการแก้ไข (Evaluation and Correction) คือการประเมินผลความ เข้าใจการอ่านของนักเรียน คือ กิจกรรมที่นักเรียนประเมินความเข้าใจจากเนื้อเรื่องโดยการ แก้ไขค าศัพท์ที่ผิด ซึ่งไม่ตรงตามเนื้อเรื่องให้ถูกต้อง โดยการเขียนค าที่ถูกต้องตรงตามเนื้อ เรื่อง ซึ่งนักเรียนเกิดความเข้าใจจากการอ่าน และการท าแบบฝึกหัดในขั้นตอนที่ผ่านมา 5
