Anil Kothiyal President - India Business PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE As we progress into the new financial year, having already completed two months, I am filled with optimism and excitement for what lies ahead. The beginning of this year has been relatively strong for India Business. Though we missed our targets for both April and May, there are several positive signs indicate that we are on the right track after facing a challenging previous financial year. Two key positives from the last two months are an improved span of performance in both April (65%) and May (62%) and a consistently improving trend in both primary and secondary sales. These developments show that our business is heading in the right direction and is gaining momentum. However, to ensure continued success, it is crucial that we focus on driving the key priorities set for this financial year. During our annual budget meeting, I emphasized the top priorities for India Business for FY '25. If we diligently pursue these priorities, nothing can stop India Business from surpassing its objectives for the year. These priorities are fundamental to our roles and will be the key factors for our success. Furthermore, during the annual budget meeting, I also expressed my vision of making Emcure the “Employer of Choice”. Realizing this vision depends on every Emcurean. Our combined efforts in creating a supportive and dynamic work environment are crucial to achieve this goal. By focusing on these areas, we will drive our business forward and achieve the success we envision. Let us embrace the remaining months of this financial year with renewed energy and determination. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and set new benchmarks for success. I have immense faith in our collective strength and look forward to celebrate our achievements in the coming months. Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling journey ahead! • Focus on People and Talent Development: Team development, engagement & retention will be driven through strategic recruitment & induction rigor. Emcoach initiative will go a long way to build internal talent. • Efforts: Ensure patch working; 95% coverage, 90% compliance and call average as per division norm; BDM, ZM, and RM MSL coverage should be as per the plan. • In-Clinic Effectiveness: Emphasize RCPA, pre-call planning, execution of campaigns in-clinic, post-call analysis, and effective use of iPads for e-detailing. • New Conversions: Aim for 10 new conversions per quarter. Ensure daily Empower submission with no '0' entries. • Secondary: Increase secondary sales by 5% over the previous month. • Mid-Month: Strive to surpass 40% achievement by mid-month. • SOP: Ensure a 70% span of performance. Key factor for our success 01

In the narrative of our success, ownership emerges as the guiding force shaping our business journey. This ownership isn’t just about controlling aspects; it’s about fostering a culture of responsibility, innovation, and resilience. By strategically integrating in-licensed products, our business has diversified its offerings, leveraging external innovations to bolster its own. This adaptability and openness to external collaborations showcase a forward-thinking approach, a key ingredient in our success story. However, the cornerstone of our triumph lies in the authentic and robust connections established with customers. Beyond mere transactions, these connections are built on empathy, trust, and a profound understanding of their needs. This unwavering customer connect not only secures loyalty but also propels our business forward. Crucially, our unshakeable belief in the power of fieldwork has been instrumental. It's not just about gathering data but about understanding ground realities, discovering untapped potential, and foreseeing market shifts. This commitment to the field empowers our business with invaluable insights, steering it toward continued success. Looking ahead, the roadmap to triumph lies in nurturing these principles. Continuously seeking innovative products through in-licensing, fostering a deeper customer connect, and staying grounded in the belief that fieldwork holds the key to unlocking new opportunities will pave the way for sustained growth and triumphs yet to unfold. The WHY of compliance is clear, mobilizing HOW it can be done effectively is the key. Lets focus on new strides that India Business is making to ensure we comply with the applicable standards of Marketing practices! As you are aware last FY has seen a significant enhancement of compliance norms specifically with the rollout of new UCPMP guidelines in March 2024. Additionally, we need to comply with several other regulations while executing our marketing practices like income tax act, drugs & cosmetics act, etc. So how can we effectively ensure 100% adherence and minimum deviations? Well, that’s where the Compliance Handbook comes to the rescue. Our handbook ensures that all major requirements from applicable regulations are adhered to. The Handbook is designed in a simple, easy to understand and agile manner. The latest handbook released on 6th June 2024. Some key points that sets it apart are – • Precise and brief – in just 12 pages it covers most relevant guidance and considerations • Emphasis – use of coloured font (red) to draw attention to sections and key limits • Clarity on Documentation – granular listing of documentation requirements • Exposition – use of simplistic approach to clarify definitions and nomenclatures used widely across codes and regulations So, ensure you all go through the compliance handbook and follow it sincerely. This will propel Emcure India Business in its endeavour. Remember reputation is amassed day by day with consistent effort and integrity; however, when it comes to losing it, its lost in a one go and takes organization years to gain it back. So, keep the Handbook Handy! Dhaval Mehta General Manager, Compliance 10 Compliance – answering the HOW!

How long have you been working with Emcure? I have been working with Emcure since 02-02-1998 and am currently designated as Senior Manager Sales Admin. What is the one thing you like most about Emcure? I've seen the Growth Journey of Emcure from the 70-employee team to where it is now, it feels like a big family to me. The nourishing Culture and support are the core of Emcure and I am grateful for the opportunities Emcure and our leaders have provided me in the organization in the past 25 Years. What is one of the best memory you have while you were working with Emcure? I still remember, when the Super Specialty Division was being formed back in 2013, Mr. Satish Mehta himself suggested my name to lead the support function team of sales admin, I was truly touched by his consideration and the trust he put in me. What was the Most Challenging Day/Assignment you have taken and enjoyed the most? From the days of Manual Registers, doing each expense entry by hand and verifying the same to the current times where automation has taken over the admin task, It was truly challenging yet a regrading journey for me to be part of the Automation of Sales Admin, Each step taught me and motivated me to keep myself updated in the fast-growing environment of Emcure. My Journey in Emcure has been an experience to widen my horizons and I am truly grateful to each and every senior and colleague who were and is a part of it. How long have you been working with Emcure? I joined Emcure on January 15, 1995, initially as a Territory Manager (TM) at Bongaigaon HQ, where I launched Emcure in that area. In 1998, I was transferred to Dhubri HQ, where I have continued to work as a TM ever since. What is the one thing you like most about Emcure? What I appreciate most about Emcure is the genuine recognition of our efforts and achievements. The company’s rewards and appreciation, along with unwavering support during challenging times, create a motivating and supportive environment. Above all, the remarkable team spirit at Emcure makes it a place where I truly belong. What is one of the best memories you have while working with Emcure? One of my fondest memories is receiving the Long Service Award for 25 years at Emcure during last year's 1st CBM in Kolkata. Another cherished moment was receiving the Star Award from Namita Ma'am in Malaysia. What was the most challenging assignment you have taken and enjoyed the most? Launching new products has been both the most challenging and enjoyable part of my job. Convincing doctors to prescribe new medicines requires strategic communication and dedication. My passion for Emcure drives me to overcome obstacles, whether working long hours or facing extreme weather, and I find fulfillment in every challenge. VLOG Odyssey Assistent General Manager - Digital Marketing Pushpendra Nandi A Whirlwind of Wonders Across the Map Buckle up, fellow wanderers! My recent escapade through Turkey was nothing short of a magical mystery tour, where each day unfolded like a chapter in a thrilling adventure novel. From the bustling markets of Istanbul to the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, this journey was a symphony of sights, sounds, and sensations. Day 1: Antalya - A Riviera Rendezvous The adventure kicked off with a swift flight from Istanbul to Antalya, where the azure waters of the Mediterranean welcomed me with open arms. The next couple of days were a whirlwind of exploring Antalya's attractions, from the historic Old Town to the sun-kissed beaches. Highlights included the mesmerizing Hadrian's Gate and the panoramic views from the ancient city walls. Days 3-4: Fethiye - Mountain Refieat Bliss A scenic road trip led me from Antalya to Fethiye, nestled in the mountains like a hidden gem. Here, I traded the hustle and bustle for serenity, immersing myself in the local culture and savoring breathtaking mountain views. The cozy stay in Fethiye became a cherished interlude, a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Day 4-5: Pamukkale - Hot Springs Heaven The journey continued with a picturesque drive to Pamukkale, where the natural hot springs awaited like nature's own spa. The cotton-like terraces and rejuvenating thermal pools were the perfect remedy for any travel fatigue. I soaked up the ancient beauty and therapeutic waters, making this leg of the journey a true oasis in the heart of Turkey. Day 6-8: Cappadocia - A Fairytale Wonderland A flight from Antalya to Cappadocia whisked me away to a land straight out of a fairytale. The surreal landscapes, cave dwellings, and the iconic hot air balloon ride created an enchanting tapestry of experiences. Roaming through the valleys, exploring ancient cave churches, and floating above the ethereal landscape in a hot air balloon – Cappadocia was a dream come true. Day 8-11: Istanbul - A Grand Finale fffl the New Year The final leg of the journey brought me back to Istanbul, where the city was alive with the spirit of the new year. Exploring the historic streets, indulging in a shopping spree at the Grand Bazaar, and immersing myself in the vibrant festivities made for an unforgettable climax to this Turkish odyssey. In conclusion, my whirlwind trip through Turkey was a kaleidoscope of culture, nature, and history. From the coast of Antalya to the mountains of Fethiye, the thermal wonders of Pamukkale to the fairytale landscapes of Cappadocia, and the vibrant energy of Istanbul during the new year – each destination added a unique chapter to this travel saga. Turkey, with its rich tapestry of experiences, has left an indelible mark on my soul, and I'm already counting the days until my next adventure in this captivating country. 35
