“දියප ොද’’ was a perfect opportunity for all of us to get rid of our
stressors at least for a little while and at the same time ,to develop a
positive mindset that can be helpful to face any type of difficulties in
our life.
It was held on 26th of October 2020 with the participation of well
renowned Specialist, Human Skills Development Trainer, Sanath
Gamage. We conducted the session through Via Zoom because of the
current situation in Sri Lanka due to COVID-19 pandemic. This project
was conducted to change the mindset and teach the way how to reset our
mindset to face sudden changes within our society. Unfortunately lot of
people don’t know how to use our intuition in a good way. So we
presented this project to the people who were interested in developing
their logical abilities as well as psychological skills. Through this project
we were able to introduce how people can build their creative thinking
patterns by using their intuition.
With the support of our fellow Leos, that day we shared our thoughts as
well as our knowledge successfully under the theme of “How to use your
Right Brain “

Environmental Pollution
Environment pollution is a phenomenon where natural ingredients are replaced or
damaged by presence of dangerous unnatural ingredients - which have potentiality to cause
imbalance to the system and to create number of health hazards to animals and human
beings. Such unnatural ingredients may be gases (causing air pollution), solids / liquids
(causing water, food and land pollution) or sound (causing sound pollution). All of them
cause imbalance in ecosystem directly or indirectly and have potentiality to cause health
hazards to human beings and animals.
Major forms of pollution include air pollution, light pollution, litter, noise pollution, plastic
pollution, soil contamination, radioactive contamination, thermal pollution, visual
pollution, and water pollution.
Pollution may muddy landscapes, poison soils and waterways, or kill plants and animals.
Humans are also regularly harmed by pollution. Long-term exposure to air pollution, for
example, can lead to chronic respiratory disease, lung cancer and other diseases.
10 Serious Effects of Air Pollution on the Environment
Global Warming. Probably global warming is one of the most worrying effects for
scientists and environmentalists. ...
Climate Change. ...
Acid Rain. ...
Smog effect. ...
Deterioration of fields. ...
Extinction of animal species. ...
Respiratory health problems. ...
Deterioration in building materials.
On Days when High Particle Levels are Expected, Take these Extra
Steps to Reduce
Pollution:
1. Reduce the number of trips you take in your car.
2. Reduce or eliminate fireplace and wood stove use.
3. Avoid burning leaves, trash, and other materials.
4. Avoid using gas-powered lawn and garden equipment.

Much is being done to control, monitor and rectify damage done by pollutants. The
problems are diverse, and some are only being recognized but it is important to keep a close
control over pollutants so that we can maintain the environment in an acceptable condition
for future generations.

Not many people know this, but the original
Sony PlayStation was a prototype based on the
original Nintendo console. It’s creator? An
'intrapreneur' working for Sony as a junior
member of staff. In the late 1980s I was
watching my daughter play a Famicom and
realized the potential that existed within video
games. At that time, Sony's executives had no
interest in video games. Thus, when I expressed the need for a sound chip for its
upcoming new 16-bit system, I accepted the offer. Working in secret, I designed the chip,
the SPC700. When they found out, Sony's executives were furious. Sony CEO Norio Ohga
is the only one who approved my idea. With that approval I could be able to complete the
chip and keep my job.
Even while working with Nintendo, within Sony, gaming was still regarded as a fad.
Despite this hostile atmosphere to video games, I managed to persuade Norio Ohga into
making two devices, a SNES add-on, the SNES-CD and a Sony branded console, which
could play both SNES-CD games and Nintendo cartridges. These efforts resulted in a
device called the "Play Station", a console that would be compatible with both Super
Famicom games and software released on a new format called the Super Disc. Eventually,
the partnership between Sony and Nintendo faltered due to licensing disagreements, but I
continued to develop our own console. I can remember how I was staying up all night
working on the console design for several nights in a row "because our work was so
interesting."

Despite being considered a risky gamble by other Sony executives, once again I had the
support of Norio Ohga and several years later the company released the original PlayStation.
The success of the PlayStation led to me heading up the development of more consoles like
the PlayStation 2, and its successor, the PlayStation 3.
The commercial success of the PlayStation franchise makes Sony Computer Entertainment
the most profitable business division of Sony. Despite being an upstart in the console market
against veterans Nintendo and Sega, the first PlayStation displaced them both to become the
most popular console of that era. The PlayStation 2 extended Sony's lead in the following
generation, at one point holding a 65% market share with 100 million units shipped. After
that I was recognized by many financial and technological publications for this success. I was
named one of the 100 most influential people of 2004 in TIME magazine and the "Gutenberg
of Video Games".
In 1997 I was appointed CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, and accordingly
moved to California. Since 1997, I had been favored to become the next Sony president. I
enjoyed a close relationship with Sony CEO Norio Ohga, who had backed me on the Sound
Chip and PlayStation projects. Ohga's successor Nobuyuki Idei promoted me as a Deputy
Executive President, Sony- Global chief operating officer, and Vice-Chairman in 2003.
On 30 November 2006, I was replaced as President of Sony Computer Entertainment by Kaz
Hirai, the President of SCE America. In addition to other management changes, I was
promoted to chairman of SCEI, and retained my position as chief executive officer of the
group. On 26 April 2007, I announced that I would retire and instead take up the role of
Honorary Chairman. Taking over his position would be then SCEI president and CEO Kaz
Hirai, who would eventually be promoted to president and CEO of Sony. On 29 June 2011,
following the reshuffling of management, Sony announced that on 28 June 2011, I had
stepped down as honorary chairman of SCEI. I relinquished active management of the
business I created and built in 2007, when I stepped down as executive Chairman and Group
CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment. I worked at Sony as senior technology advisor.
Later I became president and CEO of Cyber AI Entertainment, Inc. He also serves on the
boards of Kadokawa Group Holdings, Inc., Nojima Corporation, and Rakuten, Inc. In
2009,and also I became a visiting professor of Ritsumeikan University.

Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is a progression of fortresses that were worked over the authentic
northern fringes of old Chinese states and Imperial China as security against different
itinerant gatherings from the Eurasian Steppe. A few dividers were worked from as right
on time as the seventh century BC, with particular stretches later combined by Qin Shi
Huang (220–206 BC), the primary head of China. Little of the Qin divider remains. Later
on, numerous progressive administrations have assembled and kept up different stretches
of outskirt dividers. The most notable areas of the divider were worked by the Ming
tradition (1368–1644).
Aside from guard, different reasons for the Great Wall have included fringe controls,
permitting the inconvenience of obligations on products moved along the Silk Road,
guideline or consolation of exchange and the control of migration and displacement.
Besides, the protective qualities of the Great Wall were upgraded by the development of
lookouts, troop military quarters, post stations, flagging capacities through the methods for
smoke or fire, and the way that the way of the Great Wall additionally filled in as a
transportation hallway.
The wilderness dividers worked by various traditions have numerous courses. All in all,
they stretch from Liaodong in the east to Lop Lake in the west, from the present-day
Sino–Russian outskirt in the north to Tao River (Taohe) in the south; along a curve that
generally portrays the edge of the Mongolian steppe. A far reaching archeological overview,
utilizing cutting edge innovations, has presumed that the dividers worked by the Ming line
measure 8,850 km (5,500 mi). This is comprised of 6,259 km (3,889 mi) areas of genuine
divider, 359 km (223 mi) of channels and 2,232 km (1,387 mi) of regular protective
obstructions, for example, slopes and waterways. Another archeological study found that
the whole divider with the entirety of its branches apportions to be 21,196 km (13,171 mi).
Today, the cautious arrangement of the Great Wall is commonly perceived as one of the
most noteworthy design accomplishments ever.

Connect another jumper wire for ground pin
Attach both wire to the breadboard
Then take a L.E.D and connect its anode to the end of the port -07
Connect cathode to its GND pin
Then connect to the computer for coding.
Step 2
So in this case I use Arduino mega board for implement the code so here are the
steps
Open Arduino IDE
First select the relevant board which you use to compile code goto tools-
>boards->Arduino AVR boards->Arduino uno

So in this case I select Arduino Mega 2560 as the my board. Then Next We have
to select the port that we going to communicate via computer so that
Go to Tools->Port->Connected Port(It will appear as the picture below) then
select it.
After that We go to Select our program in this case Arduino IDE providing
basic templates for practises. For there is a example called blink. For get it
Go to->File->Examples->Basics->Blink

Then it appear new window with Blink code before compile it there need
little edits to do
First we need to declare a variable so after that we assign that variable to
port 7 in Arduino board. Choosing a variable name is up to you.
In this case we use digital pins for out signals so digital pins are response for
only Boolean values (1 and 0) for that we use High as 1 and Low as 0
We use delay time as 1000milliseconds which is equal to 1 second. You can
change the delay time as you way.
After that press the compile button for compile the code
