Phichit Long Boat Racing “ ไดก้ าหนดจดั การแข่งขนั ข้ึนในวันขึ้น
๖ คา่ เดอื น ๑๑ ของทกุ ปี ต่อมาระดับน้าของ

The event set time to be held

on the sixth day of the 11th month
of every year later, the water level
of the Nan River dropped faster
than usual during that time.

It has changed the time of

year 2524. In the past, the winner
will receive a blanket on Lord
Buddha as a reward.

traditional water sport that has been
passed down until now for 112 years. ”

“ ประวัตคิ วามเป็นมา ”

ต่อมาได้เปล่ียนรางวัลเป็นธงที่มีรูป และมีการจัดให้มีการแข่งขันเรือยาว
ประเพณีขึ้นเป็นงานประจาปี ชิงรางวัล
หลวงพ่อเพชรแทน และในปัจจุบันทาง ถ้วยพระราชทานของพระบาทสมเด็จพระ
จังหวัดพิจิตรได้ร่วมกับการท่องเที่ยวแห่ง เจ้าอยหู่ ัวเรือ่ ยมา
ประเทศไทย

ในอดีตเมื่อเสร็จจากฤดูการทานา พร้อมท้ังมีการนาเรือยาวมาแข่งขันกัน
ประมาณเดือน ๑๐ ชาวบ้านก็จะจัดงาน ระหว่างหมู่บ้านและตาบล กระทาต่อเนื่องจน
ร่ืนเริง สนุกสนาน ทาบุญไหว้พระตาม กลายเป็นกีฬาประเพณีทางสายน้าท่ีสืบทอด
วัดตา่ ง ๆ กันมาจนถึงปัจจุบนั น้ี นานถงึ ๑๑๒ ปีแลว้

three sizes of paddlers are

1. Small rowers, no more than 28 people
(ขนาดเลก็ ฝีพายไม่เกิน ๒๘ คน)

2. Medium size rowers, not more than 40 people
(ขนาดกลาง ฝีพายไมเ่ กนิ ๔๐ คน)

3. Large size oarsmen, not more than 55 people
(ขนาดใหญ่ ฝีพายไม่เกิน ๕๕ คน)

The two types are
( ประเภท ๒ ประเภท คือ )

- Type A, a long, rigid boat that runs hard
category
(ประเภท ก เรอื ยาวทที่ าการแข็งขัยแลว้ ว่ิงจดั )

- Type B, long boats that are active and run
medium
(ประเภท ข เรอื ยาวท่ีทาการแข็งขนั แลว้ วิ่งปานกลาง)

Improve competition as follows

1. A boat that competes on the first day And wins
classify as A 1, B 1.

2. The boat that competed on the first day and lost
Classified as Category A2, B2.
(๒. เรือทแี่ ข่งขนั ในวันแรกและแพ้ จัดอยู่ในประเภท ก ๒, ข ๒.)
