NEW YEAR MESSAGE Rev. Dr. Saji N Joy

Praise the Lord. May God bless you abundantly.

In the last year God led each one of us miraculously. In times of doubt or worries or closed doors, the
Lord extended His hands, opened doors, mended relations, ensured our provisions, and miraculously
led us. I wish you all a prosperous new year in the name of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that
I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

The verse says that God calls you by your name and that indicates a very personal relationship. The
relationship is sealed by the blood of Jesus that was shed on calvary to reconcile us to God. It is through
the depth of that relationship that He calls us by name. The relationship is personal, and He intends us
to know Him as our Father and therefore He will give us our inheritance, which is His riches. Moreover,
invaluable hidden treasures from secret places which is not our inheritance and does not have any
direct connection to us is also promised for us. Hence, the verse promises two dimensions of blessings,
firstly riches which is our inheritance and secondly invaluable treasures beyond what we deserve or
what is rightfully ours.

In the coming year, 2022, based on Isaiah 45:3, through the personal relationship that Christ Jesus has
with us, where He calls us by our name, we will see the fulfillment of this verse in each one of our lives.
A year of two-dimensional blessings and accomplished promises.

On behalf of Tent of Glory church, on the behalf of my family and myself, let me wish you a prosperous
and blessed new year, 2022.

May God bless you abundantly.
Sincerely,
In His service,
Rev. Dr. Saji N Joy

God our Provider

James 1: 4
“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not
lacking anything”.
In this verse we read that you are perfect and complete lacking in nothing. In Psalm 23
we read “the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want” which means you have everything.
In the Old Testament He is our Shepherd and in the New Testament, God is our Father
and He will give you everything. You will never be in a position of lack or want as He will
be your Provider. You have plenty because you are a child of God. You are complete in
Him. What does this verse mean “let perseverance finish its work in us”? To understand
this, let us look into a conversation Jesus had with His disciples. The disciples asked
Jesus what is the work they need to do to please God. Jesus told them that the only
work they need to do is to believe in the One sent of God. Believe in Jesus. Through
that faith you will be complete, have plenty and lack nothing. So this day through the
faith of Jesus Christ may you be abundantly supplied and lack nothing. God bless you.

Be a blessing

John 20:21
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
During the public ministry of Jesus many people came to Him with different kinds of
needs. Healings, signs, wonders and miracles happened. A man with leprosy asked
Jesus if He was willing to heal and Jesus replied He was willing and healed him. A blind
man cried out to Jesus and said “have mercy upon me” and Jesus healed him. Many
people called out to Jesus and cried out to Him for help and they were all blessed.
There are many times we look to Jesus and we cry for help as people who need to be
blessed, but Jesus is now telling us that we should be in a position to bless others. God
has anointed and sent you out to become a blessing to others, to bless and heal people.
Today God's anointing and God's power will move with you so that you may be a
blessing to many. God bless you.

Freedom through faith

Hebrew 11:31
By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with
those who were disobedient.
In this verse we see Rahab, a prostitute, a known sinner was not killed though her
countrymen were destroyed. She was an unusual example of faith. Her willingness to
become a traitor to the gods of Canaan and to identify with Yahweh, with His people
despite the cost, is worthy of praise. When the Hebrew spies came to Rahab, she
declared “He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath” in Joshua 2:11. It was her
faith in God that saved her from great destruction. Even though her belief system was
totally different from the Israelites, she chose to believe in the God of Israel. He is the
God who brought the Israelites out of slavery and lead them miraculously to the
Promised Land. You might be going through extremely tough situations in life and
witnessing destruction all around you, but you must not be discouraged. Look to Jesus
who died for you that you may be delivered from all curses and bondage. Just believe in
Jesus Christ then you will see the greater glory in your life. By faith you will experience
freedom and every provision your Father has prepared for you. God bless you.

Strengthened by the Holy
Spirit

John 16 : 15
All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and
declare it to you.
Jesus was referring to the Holy Spirit when He said “He will take what is mine and
declare to you”. The Holy Spirit’s ministry is revealing Jesus to us, to bear the testimony
of Jesus. We understand that Jesus had all that belonged to the Father. He and the
Father are one. So here the Holy Spirit will take what belongs to Jesus and declare it to
you. Jesus told them that the Creator was their Father and they were His children.
Although the disciples heard this, it is only when the Holy Spirit came over them that
they experienced Him as their Father. They received the Spirit of sonship and they were
given the right to call Him Abba Father. Today the Holy Spirit will give you the strength
and power to call the Creator Abba Father. You will be led as a son of God, you will also
experience all the provision and all the blessings of God. God bless you.

Justified and righteous

Romans 8:33
Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
By justification you are made righteous, you are free, you are innocent. When a person
is elected it is because the person is loved and he/she is useful for us. Likewise you are
elected by God because you are precious for God, you are useful for God, above all, God
loves you. We are freed from every charge against us. There are possibilities of people
rejecting us or bringing a charge against us, but if we are declared “not guilty” by the
highest Judge, who can bring an additional charge? Walk in this freedom. Let nothing or
no one stop you from experiencing His love for you. Today God will manifest His love
and His purpose over your life, and you will manifest the love of God to many. God bless
you.

Knowing who you are

1 Samuel 17:26 b
David asked the men standing near him, “ Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he
should defy the armies of the living God?”
The Philistines gathered their armies together to battle against Saul and the men of
Israel. A champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath. He stood
and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line
up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul?” David was the son of
an Ephrathite of Bethlehem Judah, whose name was Jesse, who had eight sons. The
three oldest sons of Jesse had gone to follow Saul to battle. David went to deliver food
for his brothers and to enquire of them. It was here that he heard of Goliath’s challenge.
David was surprised to hear how the army was addressed. He knew the army belonged
to God. He saw an uncircumcised Philistine challenging the Israelite army, while Saul
and his army were afraid of them and were hiding in the tent. When David heard the
challenges, he declared that they are the army of the living God and no uncircumcised
Philistine had the power to overcome them. He also realized that the giant being
uncircumcised was not under God’s covenant. When you understand your enemy and
know who you are in Christ, you will walk in your victory. Today may the Holy Spirit help
you know who you are and help you walk in victory. God bless you.

Encounter with God

Isaiah 26: 15
But you have increased the nation, O Lord, you have increased the nation; you are
glorified; you have enlarged all the borders of the land.
When God called Abraham, God promised to make him a nation not just a family. The
plan of God was that Abraham would declare His glory and commandments to all
nations and from generation to generation. When God increased Abraham, His
covenant was with the nations he encountered and through each encounter there was
an enlightening that happened in the nation. In the Old Testament, just as God
encountered the nations, in the New Testament, He encounters you and me. In the Old
Testament, just as God increased the nations, in the New Testament, He increases you
and me and He glorifies us. Whenever God does something to you and through you,
God will enlarge your borders and break every limitation that comes against you. So this
day, enjoy the promise of God. He will increase you. He will glorify you and enlarge all
the borders of the land. God bless you.

Believe to see the glory of God

John 11:40
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of
God?
This chapter explains a great miracle that Jesus performed. His close friend Lazarus had
died and was buried for four days. Jesus came to the tomb and asked them to move the
stone at the entrance of the tomb. Lazarus’ sister Martha told Jesus that there would be
an odour as he has been dead for four days. Jesus comforts them and tells them to just
believe and they will see the glory of God. We can see that they were not expecting a
miracle to happen but Jesus was patient enough to explain to them that He was the
resurrection and the life and that they had to believe in Him to see greater miracles that
He would perform. He taught them to believe in the power of God and to trust Him.
Today you might be in great problems or difficulties but remember to believe in the
power of God that is able to resurrect and bring life to every dead situation. You will see
a greater glory in it. Through this day may God help you to experience His faithfulness
and see the greater glory of God being revealed through you. God bless you.

Light and salt

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,
that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable
and perfect.
In this verse we are reminded to renew our minds daily and not to be confirmed to the
patterns of this world. We generally tend to think that once we become born again
Christians, we have to separate ourselves from all the things and people of the world.
But you should know, if you are in Christ you are the light of the world, you are the salt
of the earth, you have to be in the world and reflect the same. You need to be the best
at your job, to your family, neighbours and nation. You need to love your neighbors and
be a blessing. You do not have to compromise on anything or be controlled by the
things of this world in the midst of failure, rather you should know that you are a child
of God, you are a citizen of heaven and overcome every failure. Think differently and
enjoy the glorious transformation. So through this day confess and believe that you are
a child of God and no one can control you and no weapon formed against you will
prosper. You will succeed in all you do. God bless you.

Be revived

Gen 45:27
But when they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them, and when
he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of their father Jacob
revived.
Joseph was precious to his father but his brothers were jealous of this. One day his
brothers planned to kill him but they could not. Instead they decided to sell him off as a
slave. They took Joseph’s coat, stained it with blood, showed it to their father and told
him that Joseph was dead. This report made Jacob very sad. He cried and refused to be
comforted. In this passage, we see the brothers have come with a new report that
Joseph is alive and that he was the governor in the land of Egypt. Jacob was told Joseph
was dead and he believed it. Then he was told Joseph is alive, and he did not believe it
until his sons told him the words of Joseph and showed him the blessings and gifts that
Joseph sent for him. Then he believed Joseph was alive, though he had not yet seen
him. Once Jacob cried thinking his son was dead but today his spirit was revived when
he heard about that same son. Today remember that whatever you cried for or
wherever you were put to shame or you had failed, God will raise you up to a glorious
position with signs and wonders. So give glory to Jesus, experience His signs, wonders
and miracles. Be revived. God bless you.

Forgiven and saved

+

Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it
cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.
The Prophet Isaiah in this verse is reassuring the people that God's salvation is still
available and that God has ears to hear them. God’s people wondered why God did not
seem to rescue them from their trials. They wondered if perhaps God’s strength had
diminished – if His hand had become shortened or lacked power that He could not hear
them. Isaiah assures them that this is not the case. But yet they feared and doubted
God. In verse 2 it says “your iniquities have made a separation between you and God”.
The problem is not with God’s power, His knowledge or His interest. The problem is
with our iniquities. Sin has separated you from your God. In the New Testament
through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross we have been forgiven. You are
cleansed from your iniquities and sin. You are forgiven because God loves you. You are
saved, you are strong and you are powerful. May God give you revelations of His
forgiveness and love for you. God bless you.

Blessing through revelation

Matthew 16 : 16-17
Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus
answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not
revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.”
In this context Jesus is asking His disciples who do people think He is. Based on the
reports they had received, they gave him their different opinions - some say John the
Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. Then He asked
the disciples “who do you say I am?”. Peter replied and said “You are the Christ the son
of the living God”. Jesus immediately replied and told Peter that this revelation was
from His father. A true blessing comes when we receive a revelation about Jesus Christ.
It is not earthly gains or the things you possess that make you blessed but it is the
knowledge and the revelation that you receive about Jesus Christ that makes you
blessed. Today may God help you to live a successful life through this revelation. God
bless you.

Thanksgiving leads to peace

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
In this verse we receive an assurance of God's protection and covering over our lives.
Every human being is worried about their future or things they need to accomplish in
life. Here we are asked to not be anxious about anything. Whichever field you are in,
maybe you are a homemaker, a businessman or a student, we all have different kinds
of needs thus leading to anxieties. The Holy Spirit is encouraging you not to be anxious
about anything. You need only to do one thing, which is to be thankful in everything.
When we are thankful, this guards our hearts against a whining or complaining spirit
before God as we let our requests be made known to Him. Praying with thanksgiving
and praise will guard your heart and mind with peace. A peace which surpasses all
understanding, a boldness and courage will cover your heart. Through this day may you
experience the peace of God as you pray with thankfulness. God bless you.

Jesus can turn it around

John 2:11
This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And
his disciples believed in him.
This is the first of many stories suggesting that Jesus was always welcome among those
having a good time. Jesus did not spoil the good time, and in the Jewish culture of that
day a wedding was the best party of all. This is the first miracle that Jesus performed in
Cana. He turned water into wine at this wedding. It so happened that during the
wedding all the wine ran out, in spite of all the preparations that was made. This was
totally unexpected and disgraceful to the family. Mary, the mother of Jesus, informed
Him that the wine had completely finished. Jesus performed the miracle by turning
water into wine. This ended up being the best wine. He manifested His glory through
this miracle. The glory of Jesus is found in His compassion, and this was a miracle full of
compassion and His disciples believed in Him. Sometimes we may go through some
problems, difficulties or health issues but through it when we hold onto Jesus, He will
turn it around and make it the best. Believe in Him and may you continue to experience
and expect the best God has for you. God bless you.

Sons of God

John 5:36
But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the
Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness
about me that the Father has sent me.
John the Baptist, when he saw Jesus walking towards him, introduced Jesus as the
Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Though John introduced Jesus like
that, it was not an experience John had but rather it was a revelation he received from
the Father. Here Jesus says that He has a greater testimony than the one of John the
Baptist. Jesus always did what the Father showed Him. The Son can do nothing without
the Father. In verses 19 and 20, Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the
Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because
whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows
him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you
will be amazed.”
All the works that Jesus did proved that He was the Son of God. The testimony John the
Baptist gave was that He was the Lamb of God but all the work that Jesus did was like a
Son of God. From this day on, in your life also may the world know you as a son of God
because of the marvellous and the miraculous work of God in you. God bless you.

God is your Portion

Mathew 25:29

For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from
the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

This verse seems very confusing and unjust- to whom there is nothing, nothing will be
given and to whom there is more, more will be given. There are people with different
needs and here it says that the one who has more will receive more. To understand
this, let us look at a miracle Jesus performed. Jesus was in the desert teaching
multitudes. There was a need to feed over five thousand people. He called His disciples
and asked them to make arrangements to feed them. But the disciples said there was
no food available and it would be impossible to feed that many people. Jesus insisted
that they look for food. They found two loaves of bread and five small fish. He took it,
gave thanks and multiplied it and fed the multitudes. In the Old Testament, let us look
into what happened at Zarephat during a great famine. There was a widow who had a
last portion of flour and little oil with which she planned to make her last meal and die.
Elijah the prophet asked her to make bread for him. She obeyed and she was blessed.
In your life instead of thinking of lack or poverty or rejection, believe that you have a
God who is prosperous and you are prosperous because God is with you. Declare “I will
not fail, I will not be put to shame because God is my portion, God is my prosperity so I
will receive in abundance”. So through this day instead of thinking of lack know that
God is with you, He is your Prosperity, He is your Redeemer, He is your Father, He is
your Provider. When you walk with this consciousness you will be victorious. God bless
you.

Anointed by God

Jeremiah 1: 5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I
consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Jeremiah had a personal encounter with the LORD. Jeremiah was already a young man,
but God wanted him to know that his call went back even further than his youth.
Jeremiah existed in the mind and plan of God before he ever existed in his mother’s
womb. When we go through our sufferings and problems we often feel that nobody
knows us and understands us or nobody cares for us but that is not the truth. God
knew you before you were formed. Before you were born, you were consecrated,
made holy and righteous. You are made holy not because of your works but because of
God's unconditional love for you. It is through the sacrifice of Jesus that you are made
righteous. You are not only blessed, you are strong, you are powerful, you are
anointed, you are a new creation and you are also a prophet to the nations. This is
because God has appointed you and God has anointed you. May God help you to walk
in your anointing and reach your destiny. God bless you.

Do not fear

Lamentations 3: 57-58
You came near when I called on you; you said, ‘Do not fear!’ You have taken up my
cause, O Lord; you have redeemed my life.
As the Word says, when we call upon the name of the Lord, He hears us and He comes
to empower us and says “do not fear”. He has taken up your case the moment you
called Him. In times of problems or difficulties in life, you can call upon His name and He
will come and He will encourage you. You may feel lonely, rejected, without any help or
support, but He will take up your case and redeem you. Through the sacrifice of Jesus,
no one can bring an accusation against you. There is no condemnation for those who
are in Christ Jesus because He was condemned for you. He justified you and you are
redeemed. No one can stop you or come against you. Today is your day of great
salvation. God bless you.

JANUARY 19, 2022

Great is His faithfulness

Lamentations 3: 22- 23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they
are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
This verse is a beautiful promise from God. We are always blessed, we are righteous, we
are always prosperous because the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. Imagine if
you are prosperous because of your good works you do, when your good works fail, your
prosperity ends and you fall into big problems. When you know you are prosperous and
blessed because of the steadfast love of God and not your works, you will remain
prosperous and increase every day. His mercy never comes to an end and His mercy is
new every morning. Your sins are forgiven, your yesterdays are gone and today He has
new mercies for you. He does not keep record of your sins, His mercies are new every
morning and great is His faithfulness towards you. His faithfulness is greater than your
problem, greater than your pain, greater than your need. So believe in the everlasting
and unconditional love of God, hold onto this promise. God bless you.

23

JANUARY 20, 2022

Move forward

Philippians 3: 13-14
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one
thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on
toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ
Jesus.
People often tend to live in the past. The last year, last month, previous wounds,
resentments, and regrets are all thoughts that they think about. Thoughts about
previous hurt and examples of when they were either weak or dishonoured. People
become weak in their mind because of their past memories, basically the failures of the
past or the victories of the past. At no point do we ever think we have made it
completely. There is always room for more, forget the past and move forward. God’s
plan will always be good for you. So press on towards the great goal based on the
anointing that is upon you. This is only because of the love of God. So don’t worry
about your past mistakes. But focus on your calling through the love of God, you will be
honoured and made strong. Today you need to realize that God loves you. God bless
you.

Walking by faith

Genesis 13: 10 -11
Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well
watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord
destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the
Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company.
When God called Abraham, He promised to be with him always. Abraham would be
blessed and be made a great nation. As Abraham and Lot travelled together, both their
livestock grew and increased in number and as a result there was constant quarrels
between their servants. They decided to part ways. Abraham allowed Lot to choose
whichever land or direction he wanted to go to. Lot looked around and picked the green
fields and the land that looked very pleasing to the eyes. According to his knowledge,
Lot thought by choosing the well watered lands his blessings will increase. He cared only
for the material abundance of the land. Abraham knew that his blessings was not based
on what he chooses but because of the God who was with him so he was blessed.
Abraham walked by faith, Lot walked only by sight. Today do not worry about your
situation, know that God has called you with a great plan and purpose and He is faithful
to fulfill it. God bless you.

Relationship through
revelation

Matthew 16:17
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you
by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
Here, Jesus asks His disciples “What is your opinion about me?”. And immediately Peter
replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Jesus then tells him that this is a
revelation and that he has understood the secret to binding and loosing all spiritual
blessings. This means that previously, what used to be between God and people is now
between the Heavenly Father and His children. There is peace, joy, comfort, hope, and
growth in this relationship. Enjoy and hold onto the revelation you receive. The
Heavenly Father is for you because you are His children. Today you will enjoy the
presence of God. God bless you.

26

JANUARY 23, 2022

In His presence

Matthew 1:23
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”
(which means “God with us”).
This is a prophecy about Jesus.
People often think about what they could change in their life. They start wondering
about things like “If I had a little more money ”, “If I had a better qualification”, “If I had
better connections”, or “If I was in a different country ”. All of this to simply achieve a
higher status in society. This is a very common misunderstanding. We need to
understand that what leads to our growth and blessings is nothing but the presence of
God.
Let us take the example of Joseph. When he was in his father’s house, Jacob loved him,
took care of him, gave him the best, and he experienced favour. When he was in the
house of Potiphar, an Egyptian master, Joseph experienced favour. When he was in
prison, he experienced favour. Irrespective of where he was or what was going on in his
external environment, favour followed him. The common factor that can be seen in the
Bible throughout the life of Joseph is that God was with him.
Therefore, the source of our blessings is not our money, our qualifications, our
connections or our location. It is the presence of God.
So today, remember His promise “ I am with you always”. This will lead you to walk in
His presence and experience His favour. God bless you.

Unconditional love

Isaiah 49:15
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she
has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”
A mother is always a symbol of love, compassion, and care. A mother is always
concerned about her child’s comfort, food habits and routine. A mother takes care of
her child and is always a strong support irrespective of what happens to the child. So a
mother always thinks about her child more than herself. In this verse, it is written that
even a mother can forget, regardless of their love and compassion, however, He will not
forget. The Lord’s affection for His people is greater than the love a woman has for her
baby. Jesus died on the cross and this was how God showed His love for you. So do not
think you are alone. You are not an orphan. His love for you is greater than the love of
any mother or father. God is there for you as a mother and father. So don’t worry. Just
trust in the love of God. Today I pray that you will experience the unconditional love He
has towards you. God bless you.

Transformed by the Holy Spirit

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the
Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Holy Spirit introduces God as our Father. When the Holy Spirit comes in us, through
the anointing that is on you, your position changes to a child of God. When people call
others, they address them very respectfully but in their hearts they might have
absolutely no respect towards the person. That is not the case when the Holy Spirit
comes in you. You are completely transformed from the inside out, not only does your
understanding change, but your behavior, your attitude, your personality all change.
When the Holy Spirit comes in you, you cannot commit sin, you cannot live under fear,
you cannot live under your worries because you have a heavenly Father who cares for
you. Today as you face the challenges of the day, know that you are not under any
bondage to fear but you are free to call out to your Abba Father for He is always with
you. God bless you.

Abba Father

John 14:12
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing,
and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
The disciples were gathered around Jesus and were learning from Him. They had seen
and experienced much in following Jesus, but had not yet seen God the Father with
their physical eyes. So they asked Jesus to show them the Father. Jesus tells them “He
who has seen Me has seen the Father”. To see the love of Jesus was to see the love of
God the Father. Seeing Jesus in action was seeing the Father in action. Jesus told them
to believe that He was one with the Father and He goes on to tell them if they
believed in Him they will do greater works. When you see your Father as God, you will
follow a religion but when you see God as your Father you will understand who you
are in a family, in a beautiful relationship with Him and that you belong to a kingdom.
You can call Him Abba Father. You can trust Him and then you can do as Jesus did.
Just believe in Jesus and go forward with the boldness that you and the Father are
one. God bless you.

All things work together for
good

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to his purpose.
This is a great promise that all things will turn out for our good because we are calling
upon Him as we love Him. In our life, we always plan for the good and the best. But in
case something goes wrong we become anxious about it. Though we always think and
expect only good, the outcome could be good or bad, it could be a failure or success, it
could be a blessing or curse, as it is always connected with our ability, our qualification
our provisions or even our character. But when you focus on your calling, when you
know that God is with you then you will know and believe only good things will happen.
Only good and only the best, only blessings will come your way. So do not focus on your
situation but focus on your calling and live a life of great expectation every day. God
bless you.

Overcome by the Word

Matthew 14 : 29 – 30
“Come”, he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came
toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, he
cried out, “Lord, save me!”
When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the lake, they were terrified. They thought it
was a ghost, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them, “Take courage! It
is I. Do not be afraid.” “Lord, if it is you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the
water.” When Peter saw Jesus walk over the sea, he wanted to walk on the water.
Immediately Jesus said to him, “Come”, so Peter got out of the boat and walked. At
first, Peter under the influence of Jesus and His words, received courage and boldness
to walk over the water. But the moment he looked around and saw the sea and the
waves, he was influenced by his situation and he began to sink. So remember all the
promises that God has given you, hide His Word in your heart and that will bring you
good success. Today the Holy Spirit will help you to live by the Word and overcome
every obstacle with the Word. God bless you.

Blessed assurance

Mark 16:20
Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with
them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
These days the only assurance we have is that God is with us. He has promised He will
be with us always. In many verses the Lord says “I will be with you always”. That is a
promise of God. That is our guarantee. God's presence is with us. Through all our
difficult and good times the only strength we have is knowing that God is with us. In this
verse, Jesus is telling His disciples to go and preach the Gospel. He did not ask them to
preach the law, nor the rituals, nor the terms and conditions of a religion, but to preach
the Gospel everywhere. All the time Jesus worked with them, He was with them to
fulfill all the promises God had given them. God was with Joseph, God was with Jacob,
God was with David. It is only through the presence and the promise of God all the
prophecies upon their life were fulfilled. The same God is with you today to fulfill the
promise, the vision and the prophecy upon your life. Today is your day of fulfillment.
God bless you.

Give ear to the Word of God

Mark 5:35-36
While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the
synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher
anymore?” Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just
believe.”
The context of this verse is not very pleasant. Jairus, a synagogue leader had just lost his
daughter and had received news about her death. Jairus had come to Jesus to receive
healing for his sick daughter. Jairus believed and had the faith that Jesus could heal his
daughter and he had come to invite Jesus to his house to heal, but in the midst of the
journey he receives the news of her death. This was an extremely painful situation for
Jairus; his servants tell him not to disturb the master as there was no hope at all.
Instead of being influenced by the negative report of the servants, he was influenced by
the promise in the Word of God as Jesus told him not to be afraid but just believe.
Because he believed and went forward, his daughter came back to life. Many times in
our lives when we are faced with challenges, our success depends on who we believe
in. Sometimes we are influenced by the word of the world and become failures and
sometimes we are influenced by the Word of God and become an influence. You have
to decide who you have to believe. Today may God help you to be influenced by the
Word of God and be an influence to the world around you. God bless you.

Strengthened by His
promises

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that
will be revealed in us.
In this verse let us focus on two important phrases, the first one is “present sufferings”
and the second one is ”glory to be revealed in us”. In the Bible, we can see all the saints
were led by the Holy Spirit. God always gave them promises, visions and prophecies.
They all achieved their visions and fulfilled the prophecies though it was not easy for
them. They had to face a lot of difficulties and challenges, but they did not consider the
problems that they went through. They understood it was a process to strengthen them
to reach their promises and prophecies. They were never tired, they were never weak,
they were never troubled because of their situations but they always strengthened
themselves in the promises of God. If you face any challenge, do not worry about it but
rather focus on the glory that is to be revealed in and through you. As you walk in that
consciousness, the glory that is in you will be revealed. Today you will be successful and
prosperous in all your ways. God bless you.
