ABOUT ME My name is Che Wan Nur Wahida Ilyani Binti Che Wan Ahmad Afifuddin and I am from Ipoh, Perak. I am currently enrolled at Management and Science University and currently in my fifth semester in TESL (Teaching English as Second Language). I decided to continue my study in education path because most of my family members is an educators. Both of my parents are teachers and they influenced me to also be a teacher in future. Other than that, the reason why I choose to be a future teacher is because I always see how my parents always guiding their students whenever their students needs them. I also feeling inspired whenever I heard my parent's peers and students always telling me how they adore how my parents treat them. The reason why I chose language is because I really like language and literature. My original interest was to pursue in Bahasa Melayu but luck was not on my side. English is my second choice but I still love to explore more on this side of language.
This is the first class for this semester. even though my batch actually assigned to this class a bit early than as supposed to but we still managed to continue this class without dropping this subject. On the first day, Madam Nirmala brief us about what "Microteaching" is and she also explaining about the "SOW" for the subject. In class, we actually learned that our education system has changed a lot through out the time. You can actually sees it just by how centralised exam for students such as "UPSR" for standard 6 and "PT3" for form 3 students has been demolished and be replaced by 'Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah' (PBS). After submitting our answer on the padlet, we start to discussing the answer together. Today we learn about set induction. It is basically the opening of the class. Set induction is the first 5-7 minutes where the teacher grab students interest and focus towards the lesson that day.
