pathologist (Professor Emeritus, University

Foundation’s ‘A Stutterer’s Story’). His love of
academics and language came from an unusual place: he was a
heavy stutterer as a child. The process of overcoming this led to a
dedicated life of learning and helping others. Well into his 90’s, Fred
continued mentoring other people who stutter. Given this, a gift to
the LFSF seems a fitting tribute.

#LFSFGala Auction $140,000 raised
Auction Being co-chairs of the 2020 Gala was an opportunity
to understand deeply where the effort of our school
$140,000 staff starts and how the love for our community
grows.
+ = Gala Total
Throughout the creation of this event we saw
collaboration and creativity go hand-in-hand to
develop this incredible production on paper, on the
grounds, and on video.
The unexpected turn in 2020 kept us from gathering
in one location but it did not keep us apart! The
LFSF community came together and showed their
commitment. Thank you to the dedicated parents
and to the devoted staff for making this online
experience a tangible reality!
