Erick meant so much to the entire LFSF community.
He was one of the most incredible human
beings we have had the honor of knowing
and working with. The Lycée Francais de San
Francisco represents the school and the com-
munity itdoes today thanks to Erick’s unprece-
dented commitment, dedication and passion.
Erick always put others before himself even as
he was facing the hardest battle of his life. He
was elected to the Board of Trustees and be-
came its President in 2015. Through his calm-
ing presence, wisdom and passion for
the educational organization, he brought
the Board and the community together
and led the path forward. He was a unifier, a
builder, a problem solver and a gifted mediator.
There’s apparently nothing he wouldn’t do for
our community. Just as an example, he often
commented how the highlight of his year was
to sign the diploma for each graduating class.

We will miss Erick tremendously but will continue
to honor his legacy by embodying the values
he cherished, demonstrated and inspired.
