We collected natural materials such as eggs,
almonds, stones, walnuts and placed them in a
bowl of water to see if it was sinking or floating.

flower and placed them in a bowl of water, to see if
they were sinking or floating.

We put the cones we collected from the garden
into the water and observed its change.

We experimented with the buoyancy of water

We took cabbage leaves and put them in
colored water, and waited for the results

And here are the results after 2 days! The cabbage
leaves took on the color of the water inside!

Soaking Beans Experiment
Add 2 cups or a bag of beans to a large bowl.
Cover with water several inches above the beans.
Mark the spot where the beans are on the outside

of the bowl with a piece of masking tape.
Make a prediction. What will happen overnight?

Little fun experiment.
Starting with a carrot and parsley top and no
greenery we have been watching progress as the
green shoots appeared and grew. We talked about

how it needed water and sunlight.

When the enzyme in the apple (called polyphenol
oxidase) combines with the oxygen of the air, a color
change occurs, and the apple causes darkening. If we
prevent the fruit from coming into contact with air, the
speed of blackening slows down.

and hot water. We learned that the dandelion seeds are
waterproof.

We put flowers in olive oil: what will happen? We
learned that the this product cures many problems
such as burns, scratches etc..

We also put flowers in alcohol, and

We headed to the kitchen to gather the following

One half of a head of red cabbage, Tall clear
cups,Vinegar,Baking Soda, Water,laundry detergent,
toothpaste,lemon
