The emerald green color embodies healing, renewal, and harmony, restoring health and offering hope to patients in critical conditions. Additionally, its calming and reassuring effect highlights emergency medicine’s role in providing both physical and psychological care. Through both its shape and color, we proudly present EMERALD "Enhancing Emergency Medicine & Acute Life-Saving Development Skills." This initiative is dedicated to expertise, strengthening emergency response, and ultimately, saving more lives across the globe. At the center of our logo stands the Star of Life, symbolizing the core of emergency medical care worldwide. It represents global academic collaboration, driving excellence in emergency response to save more lives across borders. This element reflects our commitment to fostering stronger multinational understanding of emergency medicine, particularly between Indonesia and Taiwan, two nations highly vulnerable to natural disasters within the Pacific Ring of Fire.
The Importance of Emergency Medicine Trauma is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, making emergency medicine a critical skill set for all healthcare providers. From road accidents to natural disasters, countless lives depend on rapid assessment and intervention. Get to know about BLS & ATLS As medical students, understanding and applying Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) are essential. In emergency situations, knowing how to act can mean the difference between life and death. Strengthening trauma systems and raising public awareness about CPR are key priorities in building a robust emergency care system. By enhancing prehospital response, trauma management, and disaster preparedness, emergency medicine ensures a more resilient and responsive healthcare system, capable of handling both everyday emergencies and mass casualties. As medical students, mastering these fundamentals prepares us to make a real, immediate impact wherever and whenever emergency care is needed.

Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Poster Making
As a complement of all academic aspects, skills training is held to improve the ability to save one’s life. Hereby, all delegates will have skills training related to the topic such as Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) examination, bandaging and splinting method, basic life support and more in order to enhance their skills and ability. Skills materials will be presented on social hour with the students. Due to high demand and interest from both countries in research, the research course and workshop are presented to be part of academic sessions. After discussing things related to research, delegates will have a research workshop to increase their understanding about the materials. Research Course and Workshop Skills Lab Talking about medical school, it feels as if it is not complete enough if we do not take a look at the hospital. Here, we will bring all delegates to explore and have a sneak peak to RSPAD Gatot Subroto and also a visit to Museum Kebangkitan National.
