The concept of imparting foreign language in schools is to enable the
students to explore and learn about related cultures .DAV Public School,
Sahibabad offers French and German in the school curriculum other than
Hindi, English and Sanskrit. Learning an additional language is an
incredible communication skill which increases the range of people a
student can communicate with,increases job opportunities and empowers
him to reach his goals.Various language activities such as travel brochure
making, recipe card designing,role playing, souvenirs making , poem
writing etc. were organized to use the medium beyond the classroom and
in real life situations.

lives on, 74th Independence Day was
celeberated online by the students of
CLASS 7 AND 8. To make students

aware about the history of
Independence Movement ,students
were guided to perform role plays of
freedom fighters ,patriotic dances
and made collages on patriotic theme

in the confines of their homes.
Students attended live flag hoisting
ceremony and performances through
mobile application and social media

platforms.

Grade VII & VIII students explored ART AND SPORTS INTEGRATION PROJECTS -for virtual
exhibition. During their virtual journey they were engaged in an in-depth, collaborated activity. This
provided students an opportunity to demonstrate their talent. It’s amazing to see how confidently our
children participated virtually. Our Principal sir welcomed everyone and appreciated the efforts of the
children. His words of encouragement got the children and their teachers geared up for the event. The
virtual exhibition ended with beautiful memories to be cherished forever.

Developing Emotional Resilience

A counselling session was organized to enable the learners of class VII –VIII to

cop up with their feelings, behaviour and thoughts and to rise above all to
become a good human being.
It covered a series of activities meant to develop emotional resilience or
maturity of children. It is an ability to adapt to and bounce back from any
difficult situations in life. Life throws many challenges at each stage but if we
are resilient we have capacity to face and challenge it confidently and learn
from it and move ahead.

‘Knowledge Partner’ for the upcoming India's
Future Tycoons (IFT) Season 3. The theme
for this season is ‘Education Redefined’.
Empowers India's Future Tycoons (IFT) is the
country’s first entrepreneurship search and
mentoring competition exclusively for young
adults providing them a national platform to
showcase their ideas & build ventures. Our
team of 2 students Raghav Bhardwaj and
Ashish Arora of class 8-A made it to the top 6
from a pool of 7300+ students, 252 cities and
596 schools. It is after several rounds
(Bootcamp and Semi-Finale) and training with
our expert mentors that they've made it this
far in the competition and have truly outdone
themselves by the brilliance of their idea.

STUDENT CORNER Poem on my dad

The time, when I got affected...... He saw me, the very first time.
He had a glow and was very glad.
The circumstances were harder than ever. He folded me in his cosy arms and I held his finger with my small palm.
This was the time, I had thought of never. Days went by, but he loved me the same as much as he could.
He kept me away from all the problems and the stakes.
My family was affected from this virus. He had taught me to never say me no, for anything I asked him for.
Many restrictions were given on us. He is such a great man to me that I trusted him blindly forth.
'14 days' was the time for self-quarantine. He played with me, loved me and never asked for anything from me...
A lot of immunity was lost by mine. His love is unconditional, bright and sweet.
Not affecting anyone else was intention of our. I can't thank God for the father he gave to me,
This was the time of a difficult hour. I just hope that I could do best for him when l grow old.
Doing breathing exercises regularly was important.
