SELLING
EXPERIENCE

Our selling experience for Maggi Kari was astounding as this was a culture shock
for some and a mere of hassle for some. My friends and I have opted the
responsibility to sell a product that was chosen fairly among all of us.

Firstly, we decided on the selling venue which has to be a strategic location
where customers will be intrigued to purchase our product. After settling for a
common venue, we then proceeded to catch the people's attention by offering
them a price that they would be keen on buying. This process took us a long time
as it was back-breaking since the product we ought to sell is almost available
everywhere and has a big market for its sale. We spent few days to sell the Maggi
Kari and try to gain some profit. Venue changes and price reduction were all
taken into consideration that would help us to sell our product. Then, we got the
knowledge of approaching customers with the mindset of making them to realise
the need of this product, even if its a packet or a pack. We managed to sell quite
some number of Maggi Kari packets on that day. Since many stores are only
selling a pack that has almost 5 packets in it for a sum, we used that as an
opportunity to segregate the packets and sell them individually which worked like
magic.

Secondly, we also gain extra knowledge about how to persuade the customers to
buy the product we sell and place lower risks during bargaining. This was
essential for us because we were determine to achieve a profit from our sale.
Some customers rejected us at our first try and some did gave us time to let us
buy them, only to say no after. But, we did brush the hecticness off our shoulder
by learning something new everyday in the hopes of trying to better ourselves to
sell our product.

By the end of the day, we as a team managed to sell all the Maggi Kari we had
bought by coming together and brainstorming ideas to make this assignment a
success and learn a few things about marketing. The way we approach
customers and sweet talk them were very crucial in this process to gain their
trust. Nevertheless, it was a great experience for all of us to complete this
assignment on a good note.
