The Ridge at Wellington Palm Beach Series and Turf Tour is an innovative Horse Show Series
that runs every year from December thru April in the show jumping capital of the world, West Palm
Beach, Florida. This circuit is the creation of Olympian Nona Garson and her partner, lifetime
horseman George D’Ambrosio. The Turf Tour started in 2008 at the request of their fellow horsemen,
and was designed to fill a need for professional horsemen developing horses as well as Children,
Junior and Amateur riders wanting to compete in a relaxed atmosphere while still enjoying top
competition with classes scheduled to work well with their busy lifestyle. The settings cannot be
surpassed for ambiance, and the amenities are world-class. The Grand Prix fields, state of the art
sand rings, footings and jumps allow both amateur and professional riders to try their hand at courses
set by world-renowned course designers.

The Series has grown every year and is now considered one The Ridge
of the premier equestrian circuits held in South Florida, with a large at Wellington

January and again in March when The Ridge
hosts three exciting USHJA International,
National and Pony Hunter Derby Events.

In addition to the weekly Turf Tour Grand Prix
and jumper classes which The Ridge has become
famous for, this year two feature classes have been
added: The Rising Star Classic Series—A
competition for upcoming Grand Prix riders and
horses with courses built to simulate Grand Prix
competition at 1.30m and Friday Night Lights—a
weekly fun series showcasing our hard working
Children’s/Adult, and JR/AO riders providing an
opportunity to show under the lights.
