got lost in the jungle. While ge ing lost, Raja Syah Mardan
continue his adventure, Then he adventure to avoid

I have chosen hikayat syah mardan as my malay folk
literature. I try to interpret this story to apply in my design for
this semester. This story is about character of syah
mardan in his adventure life.This story show us how

strong syah mardan beat all the enemy an

animal also the dragon. The word strong are the
keyword that i want to apply in my design. Syah mardan also has

a magic power to enter in dead people or

animal. This adventure concept and character syah mardan
show how i want to interpret in my design as a very rough
look. I also have chosen earth colour in my
design to show the places that syah mardan
adventure (forest). I also focus on the detailings with pocket,
epaulettes,hoodie, and also belt. The
silhoue e of the design are combination of outer jacket,dress,
skirt and pants. This silhouette freestyle that i want
to implement in my design based on syah mardan story. The

elements that i want to show in this collection
are the detailing and silhouette of the free

and comfortable for the adventure of the king.

The concept of this collection IS HIGHSTREET WEAR AND A MODERN LOOK. DESIGN STATEMENT
our targeted market is on THE MODERN CARRIER YOUNGSTER, INFLUENCER,
AND PERSON WHO ARE SEARCHING FOR SOME UNIQUE WEAR. The targeted

is AROUND 18 YEARS OLD AND ABOVE. The season for this collection is
SPRING/SUMMER 2021. This collection also brings the latest trends and distinctive

styles such as ROUGH AND MODERN interm of various silhou es, panels, all
the details and bold interms of colours.

The color that I chose is earth color (BLACK AND NUDE) which is
DETERMINED BY THE PLACESTHAT SYAH MARDAN ADVENTURES (FOREST)

and also want to BRING OUT MY COLLECTION INTO OLD VIBES. I also use
CHECKERED FABRIC because it REMINDS THE ‘PELIKAT’ STYLE,
but i want to make it in a MODERN STYLE.

The silhou e also brings out the character of syah mardan that the king and
love to adventures. So I create looses include UNIFROM STYLE THAT SUITS
FOR PEOPLE WHO RUGGED FOR WARRIOR STYLE and also I made jacket style

because it reminds and brings me of the images of old warriors.

The detaling that i uses is such as EPAULLETTE, THIS IS TO SYMBOLIZE HIS HIGH
RANK IN HIS KINGDOM. Another detailing that i uses is POCKET, THIS IS TO
MAKE IT EASIER FOR WARRIOR TO KEEP THEIR BELONGINGS IN
THEIR POCKET. Also i do make a BELT WITH COTTON STRAPS AND BUCKLE
THIS IS DEPICTS US OF AN ANCIENT WARRIOR WHO HAD A BANDAGE
AROUND HIS WAIST TO MAKE THEM LOOK GALLANT. So the belt that i use
for a modern wearer.
Lastly, there are a few INFLUENTIAL FACTORS that might contribute to
this brand such as the place like KUALA LUMPUR THAT AREA WHERE
THE TARGETED MARKET PEOPLE ARE HIGH PERCENTAGE and CAN
ATTRACT THEIR INTEREST TO DEVELOP ON OUR PRODUCTS.
Not just by that, AGE, SEASON, AND COMMUNITY ALSO CONTRIBUTED
TO INFLUENTIAL FACTORS THAT BRING THIS BRAND TO THE NEXT
LEVEL IN THE NEW FASHION-FORWARD.
