Why does your customer need a
supportive Anita Active Sports Bra?

Wearing the proper inner and outerwear garments for training and
sports activities is crucial to overall comfort and performance.
High Impact Anita Active Sports Bras are designed to meet the
extra demands of any active lifestyle.

• To avoid pain and overstretching the sensitive connective
tissue, it is important to wear a properly fitted and designed
sports bra during exercise.

• When running, cross-fit training, cycling and other forms
of exercise the breast tissue is exposed to extreme strain;
moving up and down approximately 3 ½ inches per step.

• Wearing a perfectly fitting Anita Active Sports Bra, breast
movement is reduced up to 78%.

Anita Performance
and Design

• Anita Active uses only the highest quality materials combined with
detailed European design to provide the most comfortable and
supportive active sports bra she will ever wear!

• Unlike some active sports bras, Anita is cup and band sized. O ering
a more tailored fit to her body. We all come in di erent sizes and
shapes. Alpha size sports bras i.e. small, medium, large aren’t always
enough to fit most women accurately.

• Anita Active Sports Bras are made with high performance fabrics that
reduce bounce. This also helps to reduce strain on the neck, back and
shoulders during exercise and sports.

• In our Anita Active collection we o er cup sizing from a AA - H cup;
with bands from 30” up to a 46”

Measuring Her Band Size

The band size (32,34,36.etc.) is the main factor of support and fit.
Also, when fitted correctly it accounts for at least 80% of the support
of the bra.
• Measure her ribcage, above the bust. Ideally this is done without her

shirt on and over her bra. Using her underarm as the anchor, take a
snug measurement.
• The number you get will be her band size, without having to add
additional inches. For example: if she measures 34 inches.
She is a 34 band size.
• When you measure an odd number, round up. For example: if she
measures 35 inches around her ribcage ; you will start with a
size 36 band

Determining the Right Cup Size

Since the bust measurement can vary depending on the bra she is
currently wearing and her breast shape, there is a simple way to
determine cup size without the tape measure.
Ask your client what bra size she has been wearing. The rule is: for
every band size you go down; go up 1 or 2 in the cup. As the band
gets smaller so does the cup. A C cup in a 34 band is much smaller
than a C cup in a 40 band.
For example: Your client tells you she has been wearing a size 38C.
You measured her ribcage at 36 inches. You know she is a 36 band,
and based on the information she gave you about her old bra you
will go up 1 or 2 in the cup she gave you. (since you are making the
band smaller). So you would have her try a 36D and/or 36E.
Don’t be afraid to giver her bigger cups, while keeping the band snug.
Giving her breast tissue su cient coverage in the cup will make the
overall fit and comfort better.

Fit Check Points

Keep in mind the tape measure is just a guide. The checkpoints below
will tell you if her bra is fitting correctly or if you need to make
adjustments.

BAND: Check that the band is straight and parallel to the floor. A new bra should fit
snug on the loosest hook, and you should be able to fit just one finger underneath.
CENTER: The center of the bra, both underwire and non-wire, should rest flat against
the chest wall.
CUPS: The cup of the bra should lay smooth, with all breast tissue contained inside.
If there is breast tissue spilling from the top or bottom of the cup, go up at least 1
cup size. If you see gapping or wrinkling at the top of the cup, double check the band
is fitting snug on the loosest hook. You may need to go down a band or cup size.
STRAPS: In the proper fit, straps should not support the breast tissue. They will
smooth the top of the cup without digging in or falling o . Adjust to where you can
fit 2 fingers underneath.
SUPPORT: When you are getting the proper support from your bra, the fullest part
of your bust should be halfway between your shoulder and your elbow.

enough to support the weight
of your bust and all of your

• “Let me check your fit and show

Anita Active Sports Bra can
solveyour dilemma.”

Fit Challenges and Solutions

Challenge Solution

• “I am not a 34G! There is no way, • “That is a very common reaction,
I have always worn a 38E! Is this espeically when your bra size has
just in this line, do they have changed. What you may not
di erent sizing?” realize is that a G cup in a 34 has
the same volume capacity as an
E cup in a 38.”

• “As the band gets smaller so does
the cup. And since your ribcage
is only 34” around, the 38 you
were wearing wasn’t supporting
your breast tissue.”

• This will be the size you want to
start with when shopping for bras,
now that we have gone through the
checkpoints you will know how to
test the fit.

Caring for Your Bras

• It is always recommended that you hand wash your bras in a mild
detergent designated for Lingerie and delicates. A 3-5 minue soak
in the sink should do.

• If you put your bras in the washing mashine, use a lingerie mesh bag
and always hook the bra before putting it in. Place on a delicate cycle
and only place light weight delicates in the wash with them.

• Never put your bras in the dryer, the heat melts the delicate fibers and
elastic. Always lay flat to dry.
