Here Are Our First poems Hey there, I’m Rayene Meghriche! I’m a secondary teacher of English, an online wizard of EFL (English as a Funny Language), a creator of epic programmes, and a scribbler of words. This poetry treasure trove is the result of a year’s worth of adventures with my tiny tykes from the English Kindergarten and Preschool in Doha, Qatar. Now, let me introduce you to the artistic geniuses behind the illustrations: Noor, Fatima, Reem, Fahad, Sultan, and Khalid. These little Picassos, aged between 4 and 6, brought my words to life with their colourful imagination. Teaching these pals English as a foreign language was like embarking on a wild safari through the jungles of language, armed with nothing but laughter and learning. So grab a seat, buckle up, and get ready for a literary rollercoaster ride through the minds of preschoolers. It’s going to be one heck of an adventure!
