What we do

Offering a full range of bespoke cabinetry and joinery, the
Hetherington Newman team can design and manufacture
kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, studies, media and games
rooms, bars, doors, staircases, wall panelling and most
specialist joinery that may be required in homes in both town
and country.

Our joinery products are truly bespoke in that they are made
from scratch, using specifically selected materials best suited
for their design and function. We source component parts such
as hinges, handles and fittings from trusted, quality suppliers
who offer extensive ranges that stand up to the rigours of daily
use for many years.

Design

Our design teams in the Holland Park, London and Knutsford
showrooms, have the creativity and expertise to translate your
ideas into successful projects. When creating beautiful, practical
and lasting solutions, a sound knowledge of, and respect for
materials, proportions and functionality are key, along with a
fastidious attention to detail. A combination of hand sketches
and CAD technology produces drawings and imagery for you to
gain a clear visual understanding of our proposals.

Craftsmanship

Based in the Derbyshire market town of Glossop, just on the edge
of the Peak District, our dedicated workshop facility embraces
the values of traditional craftsmanship alongside innovations
in working with wood and other materials. It is by combining
the trained eye and handwork of our team of skilled craftsmen
with the pinpoint accuracy of high tech, CNC machinery, that
allows us to produce truly bespoke, robust results to a premium
standard that sets us apart in our industry.

Working with you

Project co-ordination: Final service drawings
are completed and distributed to all the

and main contractor as applicable. Our team
will visit site to check dimensions, monitor the
development of the space, establish any access
issues and liaise with the other professionals
and trades involved. So that everything runs
smoothly, we take responsibility for ensuring
our area of the site is prepared as planned,
so you don’t have to, and our installation is
scheduled in to suit site progress.

Delivery and Installation: Your order is
delivered to your home wherever you live in
the UK and it’s carefully unpacked by our
experienced joiners. How long the installation
will take depends on the size and nature of the
project. We are aware that work carried out
in the home can be disruptive, and we aim to
make the process as professional, efficient and
personal as possible.

Aftersales: Once the installation has been
completed our team will make sure you’re
happy with everything and deal with any
snagging issues promptly. We stand by the
quality of our work giving a 10-year warranty
on our furniture, joinery and components*
and our teams are available for return visits
should you need any adjustments or repairs
in the future to maintain everything working
properly and looking good.
