In this lesson, the teacher is not the sole knowledge provider. Instead, the teacher just provided the pupils with some materials regarding the topic for the pupils to explore and gain knowledge. For example; Videos The first video entitled Haikyuu vs Real Life that can help increase pupils’ motivation to learn about volleyball Digital trip A 360 view of a volleyball court that the pupils can observe Website A link to an official volleyball website for further information. The materials provided promotes autonomy for pupils to learn at their own pace especially outside the class period. If they have any questions, they can contact the teacher via information provided in the teacher’s profile.


In the listening activity, the pupils are also given the freedom to choose how they want to present their work. All in all, every activity in this website is related to learner centeredness because of the low interaction between teacher and students and also the autonomous provided for pupils to explore the activities at their own pace. This is beneficial for the pupils as they can; Reduce students' anxiety, encourage their desire to learn and become communicatively prepared, and maximize their possibilities to participate in class and activities.


One of the parts in the listening activity require the pupils to work as a group and create a mind map entitled ‘why and why not I am interested in playing volleyball’. In this part, the pupils will get into groups and share their answers for the last question from the worksheet provided with their groupmates to complete the mind map. This is a good learning opportunity as stated by Sato (2015), peer interactions give pupils opportunities for language learning and exploration that they are unlikely to encounter when speaking with a teacher or other native speaker

For example; Youtube videos 360 city (view of a volleyball court) Kahoot Wordwall Scratch game Canva Google Slides Angeli et al. (2015) suggested that in order to enable students to use technology effectively for the goal of integrating language skills into their learning possibilities, a successful blend of technology and instructional methodologies is required. Based on the statement, most of the materials and activities stated have been filled with engaging graphics to enhance the learner’s experience while exploring the website.
