chose this topic because I miss my grandfather
so much. I want those who read this ebook to
love and appreciate their family members who

In this world, there are many people who have
someone they missed. For example, a father or
mother who misses their child, a grandfather or

andmother who misses their grandson, a person

who misses someone who has passed away. This
feeling was created by God to all people in the world to
appreciate their loved ones. There are many people
who I miss but there is one person who I missed the
most, that is my grandfather who I called Tok Ayah.
Tok Ayah was someone who knew my feelings the
most. Whenever I try to hide my feelings, Tok Ayah
always knows what I am upset for and what I am
happy for.

Chapter 1

Tok Ayah lives in Kelantan but I live in Negeri
Sembilan. It is far from my home but when it comes
to holidays, my family and I will go to Tok Ayah’s
house to celebrate together with Tok Ayah and also
with my cousin. In 2020, Tok Ayah passed away due
to a back injury. He passed away when I was sitting
for a SPM exam. It is hard for me that my one and
only Tok Ayah who I love the most leaves me but I try
to overcome my sad feeling to get a great mark.
There are many characteristics about him that make
me miss.

Chapter 2

First I like the way he treated me when I was sad.
He is a very concerned person. He always gives his
persuasion to make me happy when I am sad. He
also never scolds me. Besides, he always smiles
even though he is angry. For example , one day Tok
Ayah said don’t run or I will fall but I will not listen
to his warning and when I fall, I cry aloud but Tok
Ayah didn’t scold me instead he smiled and took
care of my wound and said after this listen to my
warning. This makes me very comfortable with him
even though I only see him only two times per year.

Chapter 3

My grandmother already passed away eight years
before him. He was such a preserver person
because he try his best to let go his loved one.
Started 2012 until 2020, he was able to sit alone
even though he has many child in his family but he
can’t leave because his home was like his
comfortable zone. He also take care of his cloth,
food and drink even though he is 80 year old. That’s
why when it come to holiday, all of his child will
rush to back to his home to make him happy as
always. He also will ask his children who can bring
him to visit his wife’s grave to read Surah Yasin
together with his child. Even Though he already let
go of his wife, everyone knows that he misses his
wife very much. This make me sad but at the same
time I will pray for him to be strong.

Chapter 4

He is also such a generous person. When it comes
to Hari Raya or any celebration he never misses to
give some gift to his grandchild. He never was
stingy with his child and grandchild because he
said money can get but happiness can’t. Even
though his child has their own money, he also
gives extra money to his child to make them
happy. When everyone goes back to their
hometown, we will buy some food outside and we
will eat together at Tok Ayah’s house but when my
father or my uncle want to buy the food, Tok Ayah
said just let's use my money to buy this food. This
shows that Tok Ayah is very generous and he
never asks for his child to give his money back.

Chapter 5

Lastly, I will say that Tok Ayah is a kind person. I
swear there is no one in my family who will
disagree with my opinion. He always helps any
person who is sad or has many problems. He will
never leverage his kindness. Sometimes, he teaches
me how to survive happily in this world. Not only
me, they were also my cousin or my aunt who for
him was just a child even though my aunt is 28 year
old. He always said to always pray and study hard.
Not only that, Tok Ayah also will bring her
grandchild using his own motorcycle to take around
hometown to make his grandchild happy. This
shows that even though he is old enough he never
misses a chance to make his grandchild happy.

In conclusion, Tok Ayah is one of my most
important people to me. Even though he has
already passed away, I will never forget the memory
that I spent with him. He is like my motivator and
my father who cares about my feelings and treats
me like his child. I will try my best to be strong in
the future because Tok Ayah once said that
everyone will die sooner or later. We must be
strong and keep smiling even when we are sad or
happy. I will never forget him, the one and only my
grandfather.
