Report from our President
Hi folks,
Last year at this time we were driving our Corvettes to the club events. Snow in April isn't unheard of in Minnesota but to a corvette owner it's like a speed bump. By the time you read this letter I hope the Corvette is out of sto ge, you're detailing it and getting ready for our first club driving event.
The Spring Cruise on May 6 is just around the corner with John and Elaine Garley having a fun day planned for us. Bruce Bracinni and John Engstrom are putting the final touches on our Plastic Fantastic car show. The Plastic Fantastic show is our first public facing fund raiser event of the year Participating in our fundraiser events helps
fund many of our club operating expenses. But, most important our fundraiser events enable us to donate a portion of the proceeds to our club charity, Spina Bifida. It's a wonde ul feeling when we can help others less fortunate.
We have a full calendar of events planned for the driving season. I encourage everyone to participate in our club events, have fun with the car and socialize with the members. Check our club website event
calendar at www.suburbancorvettesofminnesota.com. The Corvette hobby is our passion but our friendships are paramount.
Note: A Club By-Laws revision to correct an error in one of the board member's title will be published in the April and May Bucket Sheets. The revision is to change the title of "webmaster'' to "Information Technology• and will be voted on at the May
General Meeting. Hope to see you soon, Dave Benner
