The Calgary Zoo, as a non-profit registered charitable organization, relies on operational funding generated by guest attendance and the generous support received

During 2009, the zoo’s Board of Trustees participated in
developing a new vision and mission. This was an exciting
undertaking and our new vision will provide meaningful
strategic guidance for the zoo into the future. Our
vision is, “A world-class zoological society, committed
to excellence in animal stewardship and conservation
leadership.”
