Glen Elder Library, Glen Elder Library/Community Room
Equipment

Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, $1,267.96, Awarded 2/28/2020

Project Summary: The Glen Elder Library would like to purchase three tables, two
emergency lights/exit signs, two vacuum cleaners, and two ladders to be used in
the Community Room.

Use of Funds: The grant funds were spent on:
(3) 6 foot Lifetime Commercial Grade Folding Tables
(2) Shark Rotator Professional Vacuum Cleaners
(1) 6 foot Werner Aluminum Ladder
(1) 10 foot Werner Aluminum Ladder
(2) Combo LED Exit/Light Emergency Signs

Impact & Results: A huge thank you to the Solomon Valley Community Foundation for funding the grant request
for the Glen Elder Library Community Room. With the awarded funds the library was able to purchase tables,
ladders, vacuum cleaners, and emergency lights/exit signs. Due to the current situation, the rental of the room has
been very limited at this time. As this situations lifts, the purchases will be a great asset to anyone using the room.
Without your support these upgrades would not have been possible. Thank you for your continuing support!

Glen Elder Volunteer Fire Department, Thermal Imaging
Masks

Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, $3,534, Awarded 2/28/2020

Project Summary: To provide a safer environment for our firefighters
entering a structure fire.

Use of Funds: The funds were used to buy Scott brand thermal imaging
air pack masks from Feld Fire company.

Impact & Results: The Solomon Valley Community Foundation grant
our Glen Elder Volunteer Fire Department received positively impacted
the safety of our firefighters immediately.
