FINAL 2018-2019 Annual Report _Leadership LINKS, Inc.

LEADERSHIP
LINKS, INC.

Incorporated on August 28, 2015

ANNUAL REPORT
Term 3: February 2018 through January 2019

LEADERSHIP LINKS VISION

Leadership LINKS, Inc. was birthed out of my vision to connect like-minded
leaders for the purpose of mutual encouragement, support, culture and
community investment, while also identifying and raising up the next generation
of leaders. What started as an email correspondence in the winter of 2012, has
been sustained by prayer and labors of love. My hope, vision, and passion for
Leadership LINKS remains steadfast, “to holistically develop transformative and
redemptive servant leaders who are united in community and committed to
invest in long-term generational and cultural change.” We are humbled that God
allows us to join in the work he is doing to reveal his goodness and grace to the
world.

Our leadership focus for the 2018-2019 term was for growth and sustainability.
The words of 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 gave us three points for direction: Study,
Seek and Grow. We used these same words for the theme of our “Walk in
Purpose" Leadership Summer Program for Girls.

We look forward to building on the community engagement we began in this
year. Leadership LINKS will continue to be the example of establishing mentoring
infrastructure that meets modern-day needs for a world desperate for leaders of
character. Thank you for connecting to the vision. We are LINKED Up for Life!

FEB 2018 - JAN 2019 YEAR IN REVIEW

Our Leadership Experience Tour (LET)

gives participants an exciting learning
adventure designed to further develop
their knowledge and position them to
walk in purpose. Eight LINKS Leaders
participated in the 50th Anniversary
Celebration of the Legacy of Rev. Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. in Atlanta, GA.
Over a four day trip (April 6-9, 2018), the leaders visited college campuses, traced historical events,
and were exposed to arts, culture and business leaders. The success of the first LET gave rise to the
Leadership Experience Tour 2019 planned for MAY in Montgomery, Alabama.

The estimated cost for the LET is $20,000.

LINKS MentoringAfter a successful program start in 2017, the
Program began its second nine-month session in SEP 2018 with 25

registered girls. Due to the faithful attendance of our three boys in
our pilot program, Leadership LINKS, Inc. looks forward to the
official launch of the LINKS Mentoring Program for Boys in SEP

2019. The estimated cost for the each nine-month program is
$2,400.00 which includes hosting leadership and college-focused

events.

The flagship program “Walk in Purpose” Leadership Summer
Program for Girls continues to shine and garner attention for

Leadership LINKS, Inc. The summer of 2018 was unprecedented in the
amount of support from local businesses in the Triad area as well as
business and military leaders that volunteered their time and
resources to the success of the overall program. The Board of
Directors continues to seek means to expand this program to a

cost for the expansion is $31,275.000.

Leadership LINKS, Inc. closed out the year with some
successful fundraising events. The LINKS Parent
Ambassador Council helped pull off the first corporate

fundraiser, The Green and Black Gala on September 9,

2018. In the fall months, several donors answered the
calls to give to LINKS Leaders for a grand total end of the

theyear donations of $13,692.17. In the coming year,
goal is to raise $110,000 to fully fund the operation of

the programs and services.
