The Travelers and The Tree

Two Travelers, worn out by the heat of the summer’s sun lay
down at noon under the wide-spreading branches of a
plane-tree. As they rested under its cool shade, one of the
travelers said to the other:
“What a useless tree this is! It bears no fruits, and is not of
the slightest use to man,”
The plane-tree interrupting him, said;
“You ungrateful fellows! Do you, while resting under my
shade, dare to describe me as useless and unprofitable?”

“Some men do not recognise their best
blessings”

นี้ เจา้ ยังบงั อาจพดู อกี หรือ วา่ ข้าไม่มีประโยชน์และไม่ได้ให้

replied:
“You must indeed be a simple minded felloe if you expect to
get anything from me, who am accustomed to take from
everyone and never give anything in return”
