EMA NEWS

JUNE 2021

Its so great to have everyone back training after the
lockdowns and great to see restrictions lifting further.
There is lots of EMA goodness to find out about so lets
get started

One to Ones

Did you ever want to work on a single thing from your
training but didn’t have the time in class ? Or do you
want to get some additional training in to improve your
skills? Well now we have the perfect solution. We are
now offering 1 to 1 classes so that you can do just that,
and if you are already a member of EMA we giving you
a whopping 40% discount. That means you get one of
our coaches for an hour for only £30 to work on what
you want. If you want to train this regularly or to put an
action plan in place to up your game and achieve your

Shins

In our kickboxing classes we are complying with the
government guidelines that students need shin pads re
pad work. To help you with this we have ordered some
so if you need a pair head over to our shop while
stocks last ☺

Daytime classes

We listened when you asked.. By popular demand
Sensei Rich B is now running a daytime pad blast fitness
session on Wednesday lunchtimes.
It’s a fun work out and suitable for beginners and
experienced alike. Have you tried this class yet or do
you know someone maybe at work/ uni or college who
would benefit from this daytime class. If so just message
us with their contact details and we will get them
booked in.

SPARRING / ROLLING

We are hoping that restrictions will lift further for our
adults classes this month and will allow the re-
introduction of sparring and rolling.

Please remind yourselves that you will be rusty and also
that a spar/roll is not a fight. There are no medals or
awards and your opponent is a fellow gym member
who is on the same team and just there to help you both
improve.

BBQ

We are planning to have a beach BBQ in July for
members to meet and socialise. If this is something you
would want to come to please make sure you speak to
your coach. More info to follow.
