drilling.The Powerbitis designed to

boosttheproductivityofbothnew and
olderrigs – allowing customers to
capitalizemoreontheirriginvestment.

Asoneofthefastestgrowingregionsinthecountry,it

Availability

Epirocstrivestobethecustomer’sfirstchoiceby
deliveringreliabilityandproximity,tomaximizethe
customer’suptime.Todothisweneedtoprovidea
high availabilityofproducts.There iscertainlya
challenge to providing high productavailability
duetothewiderangeofequipmentinthemarket,
butthere are actions we can take to make
improvements.Thereareseveralongoingactivities
toenhanceavailability:

•First,we have to rethink how we distribute
products.Wehaverecentlycompletedaprojectto
increase product availability of SED parts in
WesternCanada.Bycombiningdirectdistribution
oflightpartsfrom Mississaugaandheavierparts
from Edmonton,the product availability was
increasedfrom 20%to80%!Westillhaveawaysto
go,butthisisabigstepintherightdirection.The
nextstepistoanalyzeasimilarsetupforADSand
UREparts.

•Ongoingfollow upmeetingsarebeingheldwith
ProductCompanies(PCs)andDistributionCenters
(DCs)todiscussandresolvesupplyissues.

•The Logisticsdepartmenthasbeen reinforced
with the addition ofJamie Tomporowskiand
ClaudeViauinordertosupporteffortstostockthe
rightitemsandassistwiththeexpeditingprocess.
This cross-functional collaboration between
LogisticsandTechnicalServiceisalreadyshowing
synergies as we combine in-depth product
knowledgewithinventorymanagementskills.

•A task force including resources from the
CustomerCenters (CCs)in Canada,USA and
Mexicohasbeenestablishedwiththepurposeof
increasingpartsavailability.Theprojectbeganat
theendofJulyandwewilldevelopactionitemsin
