A more in-depth training is available through an additional 3 modules in a time frame that works for your organization. Our training is relevant for all roles and levels of experience in mental health organizations including front-line clinicians, managers and supervisors.

Module 1: Introduction to Pine River’s evidence-based framework, ascertain the challenges participants face in their work Module 2: Pine River’s framework in action using a client case example Module 3: Clinical/intentional parenting (demonstrations and case examples) Module 4: Helping parents develop awareness of self so they can engage in intentional parenting Module 5: Helping parents and youth understand where they might be stuck, how to heal, and how to become choice makers (intentional parenting) Module 6: Service model elements that participants can build into their own work Module 7: Facilitate brainstorming and discussion of ideas and strategies about incorporating learning into participants’ clinical setting and/or practice Course Overview: Pine River Institute is a live-in treatment centre and outdoor leadership experience for youth struggling with addictive behaviour's and other mental health issues. We have been tracking the impact of our treatment and outcomes for over 15 years, providing youth and their families a safe, nurturing and professional environment to heal and reach their full potential. Led by our clinical team, the Working with Families Training Program draws on Pine River’s continuously growing body of knowledge about the issues that affect the youth we serve and their families.
