Modivia proudly present’s the “House of Modivia” collection created and
produced especially for the European market. The exponents of this
collection are
Angora Carpets; manufacturer, Angora Home; stock keeper and
administration and Modivia; sales office for Angora Home in Europe which
has a strong sales network within Europe. The combination of these three
companies bring technology, creativity and knowledge to a higher level, this
contributes in benefits for our customers.

With Studio Baan on board as a strong design team, Modivia developed
a new innovative collection with well-balanced classical and modern
characteristics. The creative designers around Sandra Baan have been active
in the industry for quite some time and left their mark on notable rug brands.

The “House of Modivia” collection distinguishes itself by refined elements for
sophisticated settings, a warm feel with a touch of elegance that blend easily
with the environment and completes the setting in your home. Adding vibrant
colours that lift up your interior into a cozy, tranquil appealing.

Our rugs are machine made with the highest production standards possible.
Using high quality yarns and modern techniques, that result in a collection
that stands out and is suitable for high traffic area’s in your home and office.

Our core target groups are furniture retailers and chain retailers. Customers
can benefit from the design expertise, trend research, the manufacturer’s
high degree of flexibility and production innovations, up to date stock keeping
and reliable deliveries. This also includes exclusive collections and private
label designs, which are also a possibility.

The colour brown is an earnestly, down-to-earth color that signifies
stability, structure and support.
Brown encourages a strong need for reliability and a sense of

The colour brown stands out for material confidence and the

HOOMF E “Purity” of our Casa Collection
In a fast and consuming society where technology, data upload and high
speed, is part of everyday, “House of Modivia” goes back to purity. A
refreshing honesty of spirit, craftmanship of past times and fine embroidery
combined with simple lines creating a tranquil and serene space away from
the daily distractions. Warm neutrals like crème, taupe, gray and beige with
the occasional hint of chocolate or espresso brown thrown in to the ground
palette. Brighten it up with colours as soft pink, natural green and blue, the
“Casa Collection” is a mixture of the right amount of light and color. It mixes
old and new merged with some refreshing details bringing it to
this period of time.

Something grey

The color gray is a reserved color. It is objective, neutral,
uncommitted and indecisive a so called - fence-sitter.
Gray is the color of compromise - being neither black nor white, it is
the passage between two non-colors. The more it gets to black, the
more dramatic and dark it becomes. The more it gets into white,
the more it lights up and lively it becomes.

Being both stationary and still,
gray is solid and stable, creating
a sense of calm and composure,
relief from a chaotic world.
The color gray is gloomy,
quiet and reserved. It does not
stimulate, energize or excite.

Something Ecru

Crème is trustworthy, conservative, and flexible. The color crème is neutral,
calm, and relaxing. The attributes and meanings associated with crème
change based on the colors it accompanies.
The color crème offers some of the warmth of the color brown and the some of
the crisp and coolness of the color white. While it is a relaxing color, beige is
often seen as a dull and boring color.
Dependable and Flexible: Crème is a chameleon, taking on some of the
attributes of stronger warm or cool colors it accompanies. On its own, the color
crème is a calm neutral background.

Something beige

The colour beige is relaxing and neutral, it is a soft color that isn’t quite white
and has some of the earthiness of light browns. Beige represents quiet,
pleasantness with a touch of glimmer.
As a neutral, beige is a calming color. It carries some of the same pureness,
softness, and cleanliness of white but is slightly richer, a touch warmer.
Using beige, the color provides a calming effect. Use it to set a relaxed tone of
understated elegance.
Beige combine with light peach, pale grassy green, and light browns give
an earthy feel but softer than other natural palettes. Use a touch of beige to
lighten and brighten dark colours.

THIS Why buy at “House of Modivia”
IS Our carpets have a look and feel of a traditional handmade
carpet. Because they are machine made they are much more affordable. If
you always dreamed of a traditional handmade
carpet, know you can make your dreams come true.
The carpets of “House of Modivia” have a very short productiontime. Because
of this we are able to keep our stock up to date in Europe and deliver in a
short period of time.
All our carpets are washed after they are finished in production. Which means
that most of the loose yarns are already washed out when you buy the carpet.
It will not pill, which is typical for acrylic.

Our colours are lively and vibrant because of the Polyester that we use;

Polyester; fabrics and fibers are extremely strong, it is very durable and
resistant to most chemicals, stretching, shrinking and wrinkle resistant.

Since we work closely with Studio Baan we are able to react quickly on the
demands of the market. We can forecast trends and develop private label
collections for our customers.
