According to the legends, St. Nicholas lived in 4th century AD. The Christian leader was very shy. He wanted to help the poor
& the needy, therefore the decided to give money to them in secrecy. ---Franklin Pierce was the first US President to
decorate the White House with a beautifully adorned Christmas Tree.----The tradition of eating turkey on Christmas Day can
be traced back to the Tudor Times & the reign of Henry VIII, he was the first man to eat turkey on the occasion.----While
people generally greet each other by saying 'Merry Christmas', some priests in
Australia prefer that one should say 'Happy Christmas', because the word 'Merry' has
connotations of 'getting drunk'. ----Christmas cards were invented in 1843, a period of
the Victorian Era. -----AL was the first state to declare Christmas as an official holiday.
It was recognized as a national holiday in America on June 26, 1870. ---
People began to make use of electric lights for their Christmas tree, in 1895.

Rebuilding New Orleans after Katrina often caused residents to be challenged to prove home
titles back hundreds of years. That is because of community history stretching back over 2
centuries during which houses were passed along through generations of family, sometimes
making it quite difficult to establish a paper trail of ownership. A New Orleans lawyer sought a
FHA rebuilding loan for a client. He was told the loan would be granted upon submission of
satisfactory proof of ownership of the parcel of property as it was being offered as collateral. It
took the lawyer 3 mo, but he was able to prove title to the property dating back to 1803. After
sending the info to the FHA, he received the following reply. (Actual reply from FHA) "Upon review of your letter
adjoining your client's loan application, we note that the request is supported by an Abstract of Title. While we compliment the
able manner in which you have prepared & presented the application, we must point out that you have only cleared title to the
proposed collateral property back to 1803. Before final approval can be accorded, it will be necessary to clear the title back to
its origin." --------- & here is the great letter the lawyer responded with: (Actual response): "Your letter regarding title in
Case No.189156 has been received. I note that you wish to have proof of title extended further than the 206 years already
covered in the present application. I was unaware that any educated person in this country, particularly those working with
real property, would not know that Louisiana was purchased by the US from France in 1803, the year of origin of title
identified in our application. For the edification of uninformed FHA bureaucrats, the title to the l& prior to U.S. ownership was
obtained from France, which had acquired it by Right of Conquest from Spain. The land came into the possession of Spain by
Right of Discovery made in the year 1492 by a sea captain named Christopher Columbus, who had been granted the
privilege of seeking a new route to India by the Spanish monarch, Queen Isabella. The good Queen Isabella, being a pious
woman & almost as careful about titles as the FHA, took the precaution of securing the blessing of the Pope before she sold
her jewels to finance Columbus's expedition. Now the Pope, as I'm sure you may know, is the emissary of Jesus Christ, the
Son of God, & God, it is commonly accepted, created this world. Therefore, I believe it is safe to presume that God also
made that part of the world called Louisiana. God, therefore, would be the owner of origin & His origins date back to before
the beginning of time, the world as we know it, & the FHA. I hope you find God's original claim to be satisfactory. Now, may
we have our damn reconstruction loan?” The loan was approved
One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, & the barber replied, 'I cannot accept
money from you, I'm doing community service this week’ The florist was pleased & left the shop. When the barber went to
open the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card & a dozen roses waiting for him at his door. Later, a cop comes in for a
haircut, & when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community
service this week.’ The cop was happy & left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a
'thank you' card & a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door. Then a politician came in for a haircut, & when he went to pay
his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.’ The politician was
very happy & left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen politicians lined up
waiting for a free haircut. & that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country & the
politicians who run it. As Ronald Reagan said: "Both politicians & diapers need to be changed often & for the same reason.”
--A blonde walks into the police dept looking for a job. The captain says they can’t just turn her away, & orders the desk
officer to ask her a few questions as if doing an interview. Not having any idea what to ask her, the officer asks, “What’s
2+2?” “Um… 4!” the blonde says. Dang, the officer thinks, so tries a harder one: “What’s the square root of 100?” “Umm…
10!” the blonde says. “Good!” the officer says, deciding to switch from math to history. “OK, who killed Abraham Lincoln?”
“Umm… I don’t know,” she admits. “Well, you can go home & think about it,” he says, “& come back later & tell me what
you’ve figured out.” He figures that’s the last he’ll see of her. The blonde goes home & calls up one of her friends, who asks
her if she got the job. “Not only did I get the job,” the blonde says, “but I’ve already been assigned to a murder case!”
-- I saw a video clip from the old Beverly Hillbillies tv show. It showed Granny mixing up a large batch of her "spring tonic".
Jed asked her why she was making such a large batch. Granny said she was going to send it to members of the 2 political
parties, because "1 party can't walk & the other 1 can't stand up". When Jed inquired further, Granny explained. "The
Democrats say the Republicans are dragging their feet & the Republicans say the Democrats don't have a leg to stand on.”
To: All Employees From: Management Subject: Office conduct during the Christmas season Effective immediately,
employees should keep in mind the following guidelines in compliance with FROLIC (the Federal Revelry Office & Leisure
Industry Council). 1. Running aluminum foil through the paper shredder to make tinsel is discouraged. 2. Playing Jingle Bells
on the push-button phone is forbidden (it runs up an incredible long distance bill) 3. Work requests are not to be filed under
"Bah humbug." 4. Company cars are not to be used to go over the river & through the woods to Grandma's house. 5. All
fruitcake is to be eaten BEFORE July 25. 6. Egg nog will NOT be dispensed in vending machines. In spite of all this, the
staff is encouraged to have a Happy Holiday.
---------Little Johnny desperately wanted a bright red wagon for Christmas. His friends were writing letters to Santa, so
Johnny decided to do one better. "Dear Jesus," he wrote, "If I get a red wagon for Christmas, I will not fight with my brother
Hank for a year." Johnny thought, 'Oh, no, Hank is a brat, I could never, keep that promise. ‘Johnny threw away the letter &
wrote another one. "Dear Jesus, if I get a red wagon for Christmas, I will eat all my vegetables for a year." Johnny thought,
'Oh, no, that means spinach & asparagus. Yuck! I could never keep that promise.' Then Johnny had an idea. He threw away
the paper & went downstairs to the living room. From the mantel above the fireplace, he grabbed the family's statue of the
Virgin Mary. Taking the statue to the kitchen he wrapped it in newspapers then stuffed the newspapers into a grocery bag. He
took the package upstairs to his room, opened the closet & placed the whole works in the farthest, darkest corner. Then he
closed the closet door tightly, took a new sheet of paper & wrote: "Dear Jesus. If you ever want to see your mother again..."
Honor Thy Soldier
Twas the Night Before Christmas, He Lived All Alone, in a
One Bedroom House Made of Plaster & Stone.
I Had Come down the Chimney with Presents to Give,
& to See Just Who in this Home Did Live. I Looked
All About, a Strange Sight I Did See, No Tinsel,
No Presents, Not Even a Tree. No Stocking by Mantle, Just
Boots Filled with Sand, on the Wall Hung
Pictures of Far Distant Lands. With Medals
& Badges, Awards of All Kinds,
A Sober Thought Came Through My Mind. For this House Was Different, it was
Dark & Dreary, I Found the Home of a Soldier, Once I Could See Clearly.
The Soldier Lay Sleeping, Silent, Alone, Curled up on the Floor in this One Bedroom Home. The
Face Was So Gentle, the Room in Such Disorder,
Not How I Pictured a United States Soldier. Was this the Hero of Whom I'd Just Read? Curled up
on a Poncho, the Floor for a Bed?
I Realized the Families That I Saw this Night,
Owed Their Lives to These Soldiers Who Were Willing to Fight.
Soon Round the World, the Children Would Play, & Grownups Would Celebrate a Bright
Christmas Day. They All Enjoyed Freedom Each Month of the Year, Because of the Soldiers, like
the One Lying Here- I Couldn't Help Wonder How Many Lay Alone, on a Cold Christmas Eve in a
Land Far from Home.
The Very Thought Brought a Tear to My Eye, I Dropped to My Knees & Started to Cry. The
Soldier Awakened & I Heard a Rough Voice, Santa Don't Cry, this Life Is My Choice; I Fight for
Freedom, I Don't Ask for More, My Life Is My God, My Country, My Corps."
The Soldier Rolled over & Drifted to Sleep, I Couldn't Control It,
I Continued to Weep. I Kept Watch for Hours, So Silent & Still & We Both Shivered from the Cold
Night's Chill. I Didn't Want to Leave on That Cold, Dark, Night, this Guardian of Honor So Willing
to Fight. Then the Soldier Rolled Over, with a Voice Soft & Pure, Whispered, "Carry on Santa, It's
Christmas Day, All Is Secure." One Look at My Watch,
& I Knew He Was Right. "Merry Christmas My Friend, & to All a Good Night."

Senate President Kathleen Passidomo rolled out her leadership team, as the Senate prepares for
an expanded Republican majority. Passidomo, R-Naples, will receive the president’s gavel during
a Nov. 22 organization session, succeeding Trilby Rep Wilton Simpson, who was elected state AG
commissioner. Passidomo named Sen. Albritton, a Wauchula Rep who is slated to become
president in 24, as majority leader & SenDennis Baxley, R-Ocala, as president pro tempore.
Meanwhile, Sen Broxson, R-Gulf Breeze, will chair the Appropriations Committee, Sen Mayfield,
R-Rockledge, will chair the Rules Committee, & Sen Hutson, R-St. Augustine, will head a new
Fiscal Policy Committee, which will provide another avenue to review funding proposals. Sen
Perry, R-Gainesville, also was named as one of Passidomo’s lieutenants, but his specific role was
not defined. “His common sense perspective on a variety of issues will be an incredible value to
my leadership team,” Passidomo said of Perry in a prepared statement. The post-election
organization session will include swearing in lawmakers & formally selecting leaders. Republicans, who have controlled both
chambers of the Legislature since the 1990s, will head into the 2023 session with “supermajorities” in the Senate & House.
That will include a 28-12 edge over Democrats in the Senate, after coming out of last week’s elections with 4 additional seats.
First elected to the Senate in 2016 after 6 yrs in the House, Broxson was chairman of the Education Appropriations Sub
committee the past 2 yrs. “His approach to the K-12 budget showed me that Sen Broxson is not content with simply
readopting the status quo,” Passidomo said. “He wants to dig deep & innovate, & that is exactly what we need at this
important time in our state.” Mayfield, who was first elected to the Senate in 2016 after 8 years in the House, was
described by Passidomo as “a loyal adviser, a trusted confidante & good friend.” First elected to the Senate in 2015 after
three years in the House, Hutson was called by Passidomo as “a go-to senator for tough issues & leadership priorities.” In his
new role, Hutson will run a committee that Passidomo described as a path for “legislation that may contain a fiscal impact.”
This structure will allow time for robust discussion & debate on both budget items & policy initiatives prior to consideration by
the full Senate,” Passidomo said. The committee is expected to be equal in size to the Rules & Appropriations committees,
“providing as many senators as possible the opportunity to review critical legislation before the floor,” Passidomo said. As
president pro tempore, Baxley will be a top lieutenant to Passidomo. Baxley, first elected to the Senate in 2016 after two
stints in the House, served as Ethics & Elections Committee chairman the past two sessions. Albritton has been in the
Senate since 2018 after eight years in the House. He chaired the Senate Agriculture, Environment, & General Government
Appropriations Subcommittee the past two sessions &, as a citrus grower, is considered a leader on agriculture issues.
Senate spokeswoman Katie Betta said in an email Monday that Passidomo is finalizing committee appointments. Incoming
House Speaker Paul Renner, R-Palm Coast, has not announced his leadership team.

COUNTRY MUSIC LEGEND & MOTORCYCLE FAN LORETTA LYNN HAS PASSED Loretta Lynn died in her sleep on
Oct 4, 2022 at her popular ranch & tourist destination in Hurricane Mills, TN at age 90. The Grammy Award winning singer
rose to stardom in the music industry over 6 decades with hit singles like “Coal Miner’s Daughter” & “Don’t Come Home A-
Drinkin,” but Ms. Lynn was also a long-time supporter of amateur motocross racing, & hosted the AMA Amateur National
Motocross Championship at her “Loretta Lynn Ranch & Family Campground” since 1982, personally inspiring many young
riders, & was appropriately inducted into the American Motorcyclists Association (AMA) Hall of Fame as a member of the
Class of 2021 for “opening her arms & ranch to countless motocross families.”
AZ LANE FILTERING LAW GOES INTO EFFECT The new Arizona state law that allows lane-filtering for 2 wheeled
motorcycles under very specific circumstances officially went into effect on Sept 24, 2022. The state legislature passed
bipartisan Senate Bill 1273 in March, signed into law March 24, 2022, by Gov Doug Ducey (R), & the bill does not allow “lane
splitting,” but rather “lane filtering” by motorcycles traveling between lanes of street traffic at a speed of 15 miles per hour or
less. 3-wheeled vehicles, such as trikes or sidecars, are specifically not included in this change in the law. This new law now
in effect will only allow for low-speed lane filtering in very specific situations, & it was crafted to resemble a similar lane
filtering initiative that became law in Utah in 2019. Lane splitting or filtering in some form are now allowed in AZ, CA, Hawaii &
Utah, while states including Connecticut, Oregon, Washington & Virginia have introduced or are considering such legislation.
‘NOISE’ UNDER ATTACK IN CA -- Gov Gavin Newsom (D) has signed AB-2496 into law, to now require a certificate of
compliance for a violation of noise limit requirements & certain modified exhausts, & putting a “Hold” on vehicle registrations if
proof is not adequately provided in a timely manner. “AB-2496 creates a system in which, if you are cited for noise, you must
provide certification to the court within 90 days of citation that your exhaust has been corrected to acceptable standards,”
wrote ABATE of California in a ‘Call to Action’ opposing the measure; going on to explain that; “However, there is no system
to test & certify, thus you can not get it. Further, IF you do not get it, your vehicle will NEVER be able to be registered in the
State of Ca again. They want to remove us from the road.” The new law requires the court to inform the DMV if a certificate of
compliance is not provided within 3 months of the violation date, treating this failure as noncompliance, & requiring the DMV,
before renewing the registration of any vehicle, to check whether the court has issued a hold on the vehicle registration for a
violation of the noise requirements & to refuse to renew the registration until it has received a notification from the court that a
certificate of compliance has been issued. These requirements would become operative on January 1, 2027.
FEDERAL BILL DEMANDS ANSWERS ON ANTI-BIKER PROFILING Congresswoman Lee (D-NV), a member of the
House Appropriations Committee, has included language [House Report 117-402] demanding answers from NHTSA
regarding anti-biker profiling into a government funding bill, H.R. 8294, which states; “The Committee is concerned that
NHTSA may be conducting activities that encourage states to adopt legislation, regulation, or other policies that unjustly
profile motorcycle riders. The Committee directs NHTSA to report to the House & Senate Committees on Appropriations on
the extent to which the agency works with states on motorcycle passenger policies within 120 days of enactment of this Act.”
Additionally, cosponsors are still being sought for H. Res 366 to prevent the discriminatory targeting of motorcyclists by law
enforcement, similar to the anti-profiling resolution passed by the U.S. Senate in 2018. Meanwhile, the states of Washington
(2011), Maryland (2016), LA (2019), Idaho (2020) and New Hampshire (2022) have proactively passed laws to curb profiling.
E-BIKES MAY SOON BE AS COSTLY TO CHARGE AS ICE BIKES ARE TO REFUEL Rising electricity costs are impacting
public charging stations, leading to increased costs for charging electric bikes that could be higher than gasoline. Historically,
the comparatively low price of charging an electric vehicle versus fueling one fitted with an internal combustion engine (ICE)
has meant that for those who can afford such vehicles, the switch from gas to electric transport has been a financially
beneficial one. However, as the price of energy continues to rise internationally, electric motorcycles could soon be more
expensive to charge than combustion bikes cost to fill up. Assuming the price of gas doesn’t outpace the cost of electricity, a
study reports that costs per kilowatt-hour of electricity at ‘rapid’ charging stations in the UK have increased by 42% in the 4
months from May 2022 to Sept 2022; “That has led to charge costs per mile that are not far short of fill-up costs per mile.”
‘WALKING DEAD’ STAR JOINS ‘THE BIKERIDERS’ CAST, JAX RETURNS FROM THE DEAD For your Moto-tainment
pleasure, Hollywood sources report that “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus has become the latest celebrity to join the
cast of “The Bikeriders,” a fictional film inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon & his 1967 book of the same name, &
follows the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club. Seen through the lives of the members, the club evolves over the
course of the decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more ‘sinister gang’. The biker theme is fitting for
Reedus, a longtime rider whose ‘TWD’ character Daryl Dixon is known for riding a motorcycle across the show’s 11 seasons.
The 53-year-old actor also hosts the travel series “Ride with Norman Reedus” as he hits the open road to explore biker
culture. In other ‘Dead’ News, Charlie Hunnam has reportedly hinted at resurrecting his Jax Teller character, who died in the
final episode of “Sons of Anarchy,” for a redux role.
MOTORCYCLE POKÉMON TO HELP GAMERS EXLPORE POKÉ-UNIVERSE Two new Legendaries, Koraidon & Miraidon,
are here to aid in your exploration of the newest games in the Pokémon franchise. In the 26 years since Pokémon was first
released, it’s gained a lot of fans around the world, & while pedal-powered bicycles have been a part of Poké-canon since the
beginning, traditional motorcycles haven’t been -- until now! On Nov18, 2022, Nintendo is set to release the two newest
games in the franchise worldwide -- Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet -- on the Switch. As has become customary, a pair
of Legendary Pokémon (differentiated from normal Pokémon by both their rarity & their comparatively expansive powers) will
adorn the box art for these games. They’re new to the franchise; their names are Koraidon & Miraidon -- oh, & they transform
into motorcycles. That’s important, because these two new games mark another first in the franchise: They’re both open-
world roleplaying games (RPGs), & with so much space to explore, these Pokébikes will help your character ride across the

FREEDOM FROM THE FEDS, AMAZING--It’s Time for Turn-Key Replicas! The long wait is
over: The federal replica car law has finally taken effect. NHTSA issued a regulation in March
permitting replica manufacturers to begin production of completed vehicles. The law allows
low-volume manufacturers to sell up to 325 new fully-functional replicas per year that
resemble production vehicles from at least 25 years ago. Enthusiasts will now be able to purchase reimagined versions of
classic vehicles, including everything from Roaring Twenties cars & 1930s roadsters to 1970s muscle cars & rare exotics
among others. Having a chance to sell brand-new heritage cars consumers could drive off the lot was just a dream in 2011
when SEMA worked with lawmakers in the U.S. Congress to introduce the Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act.
Years of advocacy on Capitol Hill by SEMA & its kit car allies led to the replica car provision becoming law as part of the 2015
highway bill. --SEMA Could this help the motorcycle industry. I think so." –Bandit
https://www.bikernet.com/pages/THINK_TANK_BIKERNET_WEEKLY_NEWS_for_2022.aspx ---WILL GAS STATIONS SURVIVE—
The Forced Evolution Towards Electric Vehicles? We still need gas stations as long as we drive internal combustion
engines (ICE). That's obviously a given. According to Kelley Blue Book, though, automakers sold 576,000 EVs in the last
nine months--a whopping 70-percent increase during the previous year. If we continue buying electric vehicles (EVs) at this
pace, we will need electric chargers on a much larger scale. The Biden admin is pushing the electrification of half of all new
cars by 2030 & plans to give funding to build a network of half a million fast-charging stations in the same time frame. 7 years
is a short time frame to make all this happen. EV industry consultant L McDonald explained to the LATimes that a large chain
could add chargers at a lower per-unit cost due to economies of scale. Chargers cost $70,000 to $150,000 per unit. He said
that once installed, electric chargers need two to five years to become profitable, mainly in part due to their infrequent use.
McDonald noted that chargers are currently only used about five to ten percent daily. Until recently, most states had laws
preventing businesses other than regulated electric utilities from selling electricity. A proxy battle has already started between
electric utilities, EV charging-provider companies such as EVgo & ChargePoint, truck stops, convenience stores, & traditional
gas stations. Offices, restaurant chains, & even stores are also joining the EV charging trend. In a recent post, Politico
claimed gas station owners & other businesses who put in chargers find themselves at the mercy of an opaque, regulated, &
monopolistic electric utility system that is unlike the gas supply system. The gas price fluctuates based on market conditions.
If an ICE owner doesn't like the price at one station, they can drive down the street & find the price of gas per gallon they
want. An electric charge costs what it costs, & there's no use trying to find a different price point. Three thousand local
electric utilities in the US determine how much each charger can charge depending on its geographic location in the
individual utility network. Right now, EV owners are just happy to find a charger. Reason Director of Transportation Policy
Bob Poole recently pointed out in his November 2022 email that electric vehicle charging, even fast charging, can 'fill up' only
one-sixth as many EVs in a 14-pump scenario. The 14-pump electric charge station would only be able to charge 1,680 EVs
in a 12-hour cycle. If it were gas instead, 14-pumps could refuel 70 cars in five minutes, & in 12 hours, it could handle
refueling 10,080 vehicles. If the average price for a charge were the same as gas, the station owner would lose money.
Of course, gas stations are no longer the gas stations of the 1970s.
80% of all gas is now sold at convenience stores, which make their real money on other goods & services. If folks stick
around because it takes longer to charge, then convenience stores can make up for some of the difference by providing more
goods and services. Unfortunately, expanding stations to accommodate more electric charging will be challenging because
affordable land adjacent to gas stations is likely unavailable in many scenarios. Also, chargers need standardization, which
currently does not exist. Owners need a similar payment system, pricing information, & charging speeds to make EVs easier
to use & own. The Biden administration announced last summer that drivers need real-time information on station pricing &
location to better plan trips to help alleviate 'range anxiety.' Stations will also need a minimum number & type of chargers.
Home charging & charging during the day at places of work might also hurt the bottom line of the 'gas station' of the future.
In the meantime, several cities in California will no longer allow the building of new gas stations to discourage the use of gas
vehicles in the hopes of curbing climate change. Northern California's Marin County is the hotbed of banning stations.
Novato's city council will vote in a few weeks to enact a ban. The town currently has 12 stations & two more pending
construction. In March 2021, the nearby community of Petaluma was the first in the country to enact a ban on gas stations.
Since then, the Bay area cities of Cotati, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, & Windsor have all followed suit. In Aug, the
CA Air Resources Board (CARB) voted to require all new cars & light trucks sold in the state to be zero emission by 2035.
More than 5,000 mom-&-pop gas stations dot the state, & many have indicated this zero-emission requirement will expedite
the closing of their businesses. Even after the new car mandate, CARB predicts the number of ICE vehicles in California will
drop to less than 16 million by 2035. Currently, 24 million are registered in the state. Despite what you read in the press, gas
stations will survive even in California. They might all be national or regional chains that can afford to have a dual gas/electric
charging system in place. As electric charging speeds increase & a comprehensive networked system comes online, more
people will buy EVs & likely still make a run to the 'gas station' as needed. --NMA
https://teaparty.org/just-in-trump-calls-to-be-reinstated-as-president-475606/ ------------ (TeaParty.org Exclusive) – President
Donald Trump has once again ripped the Justice
Dept a new one after a judge decided in his favor to
appoint a special master that would look over the
documentation seized by the FBI in the raid on his
FL home. But his comments didn’t stop there. Trump
then made another call to be reinstated as president.
Listen, there’s a good case for Trump being the
actual, legitimate president. We are still sitting on a
massive mountain of evidence that suggests the
election was stolen from him. If the FBI weren’t so
corrupt from top to bottom, perhaps an investigation
by the federal government into this matter could get
to the bottom of things one way or the other.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Trump shot
off a statement on his Truth Social account just
hours after the judge ruled in his favor on the special
master. The ruling not only allows the former
president to have some of the documents that were taken from his home back, but also will also delay an investigation of
potential mishandling or removal of classified documents from his estate. “Trump jumped onto the offensive, once again
ripping law enforcement, in a possible allusion to the FBI’s handling of info about Hunter Biden’s laptop,” the report stated.
‘Now that the FBI & DOJ have been caught in a massive & determinative Election Rigging Scam, are they going to change
the results of the 2020 Presidential Election? They should!!!’ Trump wrote in the post. Trump’s comment here is a doubling
down on one he made last week after it was confirmed that Big Tech companies in the arena of social media downplayed the
story about Hunter Biden, younger son of Joe Biden, & his now infamous laptop, which prevented the story from going wide
just days before the 2020 election.
‘FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, ‘Trump would
have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.’ This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never
seen before in our Country,’ Trump said in a post on Truth Social.’REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, & this would be
the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised & have a new Election, immediately!’ According
to The Federalist, “Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s admission last week that the FBI pushed the social media giant to
censor Russian misinformation — & thus the Hunter Biden laptop story, as that’s how the agency & Democrats characterized
it — shortly before the November 2020 election is but a breadcrumb of a bigger scandal: the widespread interference by the
FBI in the 2020 presidential election with the potential that the bureau coordinated its efforts with the Biden campaign.” “The
FBI basically came to us, some folks on our team, [saying,] ‘Hey just so you know, you should be on high alert,” Zuckerberg
went on to tell Rogan during the conversation. According to the Big Tech guru, the bureau told Facebook that “we thought
there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election” & that “we have it on notice that basically there’s about to be
some kind of dump similar to that so just be vigilant. “Hey, look, if the FBI — which I still view as a legitimate institution in this
country, it’s a very professional law enforcement — they come to us & tell us we need to be on guard about something, I want
to take that seriously,” Zuckerberg stated. Trump then shredded the bureau by sharing a post from a user who said that the
“FBI Raided Barron’s Room…But Never Raided Hunter’s.”
--- RUSSIAN ATTACK ON UKRAINE CAUSING POTHOLES IN THE U.K.
Hostilities between Russia & Ukraine is being touted as the reason for much of the
financial troubles in the world today, & the British Local Government Association
(LGA) is now claiming that the Russian led invasion is preventing pothole repair
work as costs increase. So aside from other more obvious wartime after-effects, like higher gas prices & utility bills, the war
between Russia & Ukraine is apparently being felt in even more wide-reaching areas. One of the areas that are being
reported to have been hit hard by the conflict is road building & repair. The RAC in England reports that around 60% of the
bitumen used to build new roads, & repair potholes, was bought from Russia. With trade embargos on the nation now in
force, the cost of carrying out these repairs is said to have risen, with the LGA claiming a 22% increase. A recent study by the
LGA concluded that prior to the Russian aggressions, the UK’s pothole problems would have taken ten years to rectify,
costing around £12 billion ($13.5B US) in total.
FRENCH CO TESTING PLANT-BASED ASPHALT The worldwide movement towards a greener future of mobility doesn’t
stop with the vehicles, but also the roads we drive & ride on. Indeed,
infrastructure plays an equally important role when it comes to sustainability, &
this is something that many countries have overlooked in their efforts to go
green, but not France, as it’s now ready to test a new plant-based asphalt
called Biophalt. Currently, asphalt roadway surfaces are made primarily out of
petroleum crude oil, a far cry from carbon neutral, so French co Eiffage has
been working on an alternative to traditional asphalt since 2018, called
Biophalt, that is said to offer the same benefits as asphalt while taking the
crude oil out of the equation. The tech has so much potential, that in 2019, it
was given an award by the Roads & Streets Innovation. Biophalt sets itself
apart from traditional asphalt by making use of a vegetable binder instead of
crude oil. Moreover, in terms of traffic volume, climatic resilience, traction, &
durability, Biophalt has similar attributes to conventional asphalt. It is also
applied at mild temperatures & has a reduced production temperature
requirement, both of which provide energy savings. With all of this, Biophalt
claims to have a carbon-neutral footprint. Recently, the southwest French
department of Haute-Garonne made the decision to test the Biophalt mix from
Eiffage by resurfacing a mile-long section of road, in hopes that Biosphalt will
soon set the entire road infrastructure on a new course.
SELF-DRIVING CAR ‘DRIVERS’ GIVEN GREEN LIGHT TO WATCH VIDEOS As world governments move towards a full
rollout of self-driving cars on the roads, one rule is being introduced in the UK to allow ‘drivers’ to watch videos while the
vehicle is in motion! After a consultation on the matter, the U.K. government is now set to allow those in control of self-driving
cars to watch videos while driving down the road. The changes came when the government updated the highway code earlier
this year. At the time, it was done to consider the new autonomous technology & incorporate it into the rules of the road, but
this new rule could cause vulnerable road users to be put at risk. It concerns watching content that is not related to the
vehicle (films, TV, music videos, social media, & emails) on the vehicle's built-in display screens built into the cockpit. These
are generally used to change the settings of the car, relay info to the driver, or provide navigation assistance, though many
can now be set to display videos via internal or external storage devices, with some being able to surf the Internet either
through 5G or Wi-Fi. The move will likely strike fear into the hearts of vulnerable road users, such as motorcyclists, as it’s
already been widely reported that many self-driving cars do miss “seeing” us in some circumstances. At this time,
autonomous car manufacturers claim that the liability lies with the driver of the vehicle to spot the danger & take back control
of the vehicle, so how badly is an operator’s concentration & reaction time impacted by watching a movie, or playing a game?
BMW just announced AirConsole to allow owners to play both single- & multiplayer videogames from the comfort of the
driver’s seat to "make every waiting situation in the vehicle an entertaining experience."
https://www.rideapart.com/news/618230/thailand-motorcycle-sales-2022/ By: Dustin Wheelen New COVID-19 cases have ultimately
declined in 2022. Thanks to the lower infection rates, more countries have opened their borders to tourism this year. While
many industries continue to recover from the pandemic’s economic hit, the manufacturing sector still struggles with resource
and supply chain issues. Despite these hurdles, Thailand’s motorcycle segment outperformed expectations in 2022. In
September alone, manufacturers moved 150,297 units. That figure equates to a 35.8-percent increase when compared to the
same month in 2021. However, that year-on-year improvement doesn’t mean that sales numbers are on the upswing.
Compared to August, 2022, sales wavered by 12.5 percent in September. Still, Thailand outpaces its 2021 sales performance
by 13.3 percent through the first nine months of 2022. The country currently claims 1.36M units sold this year. With such
progress, reaching 2021’s 1.61M units shouldn’t prove difficult. That is, as long as microchip manufacturing doesn’t trip up
Thailand’s pace moving forward."The semiconductor shortage is still a major problem for motorcycle makers as it affects
production of big bikes and other new motorcycle models,", FTI (Federation of Thai Industries) Automotive Club vice-
chairman Surapong Paisitpatanapong. After all, Thailand doesn’t just rely on domestic sales but also exports motorcycles
worldwide. In Sep, 2022, the nation exported 92,659 units, accounting for a 33.9-percent growth over the same period a year
ago. To date, Thailand has shipped 762,202 units abroad this year, keeping exports positive by 5.81%. The new sales data
also reinforces the idea that returning tourism helps fuel Thailand’s economic recovery. Rising tourism improves citizens’
spending power within the country. In turn, the motorcycle industry experiences growth. Nowhere is that more evident than
the electric motorcycle category, which has recorded a 193-percent sales increase with 792 units moved in 2022. Thanks to
the gains in both industries, the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB), raise its GDP
growth forecast from 2.75-3 Percent to 3-3.5 percent. Of course, Thailand’s motorcycle sector will need to solve the microchip
conundrum to maintain its momentum, but it’s encouraging to see the industry forge ahead despite the supply shortage.
