Malaysia Summer Camp 2023 : Understanding Health Hazards is an educational program designed for university students interested in the field of environmental health. Malaysia Summer Camp is staffed by knowledgeable and experienced educators who are experts in environmental health and sustainability. They will guide participants through the program, providing support and mentorship as they learn and explore. At the end of the camp, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of environmental health and its importance in maintaining a healthy planet. They will also have developed valuable skills and knowledge that they can apply in their academic and professional pursuits. Throughout the camp, participants will learn about various aspects of environmental health, including air and water quality, waste management, climate change, and the impacts of pollution on human health. INTRODUCTION The camp offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage in hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences that promote environmental stewardship and responsibility. Participants will have the opportunity to explore local ecosystems and natural habitats, learn about different plant and animal species, and discover ways to reduce their carbon footprint. 1

The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has built a number of modern hospitals and equipped pieces of equipment with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that the country is not left behind in the flow of change and the rapid development of medicine and health. Aware of the increasingly high level of health professional services, the government set up that are structured into the Ministry of Health Training Institute. There are about 2700 trainees comprising six programs including Nursing, Radiography and Radiotherapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapist, Assistant Pharmacy and Environmental Health. The vision of this college is to become a modern, integrated and brilliant health training institution, as well as being able to provide teaching and learning facilities that meet current needs. Environmental Health & Industrial Safety Program offered Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health with Honors in line with the current needs and technological developments in this field. This program is always committed to producing graduates who can help improve the health of the general public and workers ’ safety through improving the quality of the environment, including the natural environment as well as safe and healthy workplace conditions.
