Good Manufacturing Practices Workshop

had attended Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) Workshop
by Millenniya Management Company
which organized
by Darussalam Enterprise (DARe).
The workshop was held at D & T
Building, Anggerek Desa on 6th De-
cember 2018 correspondence with
28 Rabiulawal 1440.

GMP are systems to make sure that
finished products include food &
beverage, cosmetics and pharma-
ceutical are effective and safe for
market distribution. Through this
workshop, could increase awareness
of the advantage of GMP for compa-
nies. Another outcome for the work-
shop would be for MSMEs to under-
stand the methods and require-
ments in order get GMP certified .

In addition, it could help relay the
knowledge to HTRC students.

held a knowledge sharing
session titled ‘Halal Index
Management for
Commercialised Purpose’ at
Computer Lab 1, UNISSA for
public and students on 27
Jamadilawal 1439
corresponding to 13 February
2018. A total of 58 people

attend the programme.

The programme was held in
order to facilitate participants
to use the index in their writ-
ing. The programme also car-
ried out the practical activity
with the help of industrial
training students from UiTM in
order for participants to know
the use of index easily. The
programme hopes that this
program will encourage partici-
pants to practice index use in
the future.

Islam Borneo kali ke– 11 (KAIB 11) yang diadakan di Insititut
Agama Islam, Pontianak.

Profesor Madya Dr Nurdeng Deuraseh telah menyampaikan
kertas ucaptama bersama dengan Rektor, Dr Haji Norarfan
bin Haji Zainal yang bertajuk “Piawaian Halal antara Negara
MABIMS ke arah Penanda Aras Global”.

Pada seminar yang sama juga, Profesor Madya Dr Nurdeng
Deuraseh telah membentangkan kertas kerja yang bertajuk
“Brunei Darussalam Standard Halal Food PBD24: 2007 to-
wards the Local and Global Need and Challenge in Halal In-
dustry”.

lecturers from Institut Agama Islam Negeri, Pekalongan, Indonesia had
visit Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) for their research regard-
ing the halal matter in Brunei.
One of their activity was meet Associate Professor Dr Nurdeng
Deuraseh, Director of Halalan Thayyiban Research Center. The meeting
was to ask the Director for more details about the halal matter.

The collaboration between UNISSA and foreign institutions of higher learning is a major factor UNISSA becomes the choice of

“UNISSA has become an attraction to international students, especially from the Southeast Asian region. UNISSA is chosen
as a destination for Islamic and Arabic studies, whether it is a short or long program.”

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) and memorandum of agreement (MoA) with prestigious institutions of higher learn-
ing and agencies have produced various programs and activities that have been implemented between the two parties includ-
ing student mobility programs, internship programs, industrial training programs and exchange programs for external students
country to UNISSA.

In 2018 only a few students from 3 universities have undergone this program at PPHT. Among them are Academy of Contem-
porary Islamic Studies, University of Technology MARA of 6, Osaka University, Japan, 2 students and University Putra Malaysia
of 5.

The involvement of foreign students is expected to maintain good ties between UNISSA and overseas institutions.

gram pertukaran pelajar di
PPHT.

Lawatan ini bertujuan untuk
mendedahkan pelajar kepada
bahagian yang bertanggungja-
wab mengenai pembangunan
industri halal di Brunei Darus-
sala, tugas dan peranan yang
dijalankan oleh HIDD dalam
memastikan industri halal
Brunei sentiasa berkembang
maju.

tan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) melalui Pusat Pengajian Lepas
Ijazah (PPLI) dan Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa
Selangor (KUIS) diadakan selama dua hari pada 29—
30 Safar 1440H bersamaan dengan 7—8 November
2018M di Auditorium UNISSA., bilik L1.2, L1.3 dan
Moot Court bergantung kepada sesi.

Seminar ini telah menggalakkan pelajar-pelajar lepa-
san ijazah dari UNISSA dan KUIS untuk memben-
tangkan kertas kerja mereka.

Awang Muhammad Akmal bin Awang Tarif merupkan
pelajar Ijazah Sarjana PPHT tidak membuang peluang
dan merebut kesempatan ini membentangkan kertas
kerja beliau yang bertajuk “Aplikasi Sijil Halal menurut
Perspektif Pengusaha Perniagaan di Daerah Brunei
dan Muara”.

Program Minggu Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Kreatif 2018

Pada 19—25 Safar 1440H bersamaan
dengan 29 Oktober—3 November
2018M, UNISSA melalui Fakulti Penguru-
san dan Pembangunan Islam (FPPI) telah
mengadakan Program Minggu Pengaja-
ran dan Pembelajaran Kreatif. Program
ini menggalakkan para graduan mempro-
mosi fakulti dan pusat masing-masing.
Ada 3 pertandingan dipertaruhkan dan
graduan PPHT telah memenangi ketiga-
tiga pertandingan tersebut, iaitu;
