1. Audio Input - are used when you have a microphone attached to the camera to capture
sound. This device allows a user to send audio signals to DVR.
We use this when you need not only the video capture but also the audio and the audio to

STEP BY STEP INSTALLATION OF CCTV
Step 1: Connect Power Adapter of the DVR
Remember: Before Plugging in, you are advised to use distribution box management for the safe
procedure.
Step 2: The CCTV camera has two connections, one for its power and one for BNC connector.

Step 4: Connect power adapter of the CCTV camera.

Step 5: Repeat step 2 - 4 in the same way connect the CCTV cameras (this only applicable for 2
and more CCTV camera)

Step 9: Connect wires to the motion sensor if you want to activate the alarm input (This is optional ,
it is more applicable for those people have their own business)

Step 10: Connect the RCA to audio input if your CCTV camera is applicable for the audio and from
DVR connect speaker from the audio output. (This is optional, but you can do it if you want not only
video but also audio recording.)

STEP 11: Connect long cable‘s female BNC video cord to DVR‘s BNC video-in port; set protocol
and baud rate. Finally, you can use the joystick to move the camera. get another RS485 to connect
RS485 out port of joystick and RS485 port of DVR ( this only available to PTZ)
Step 12: Plug in the monitor so it can have the power.
Step 13: Switch on the DVR and the Monitor( but not all DVR has switch, it is on when you plug it
in to the current)

Step/ Procedure:
1. Prepare needed tools and equipment, supplies and materials, installation manuals, installation
plan and design an installation procedure.
2. Inspect the condition and safety of the area.
3. Read and interpret manuals.
4. Install CCTV systems according to the plan and wear personal protective equipment before
working.
5. Inspect and test installation set-up.
6. Accomplish installation checklist form.
7. Submit an accomplishment report/ installation report to the immediate supervisor.
8. Apply 5s before leaving the working area.
