2021 SPM CANDIDATES KNOWLEDGE CONFERENCE SMK Medini has successfully organized a very meaningful ceremony to prepare emotionally for SPM 2021 Candidates of SMK Medini. The programme this time was attended by all the people of SMK Medini including teachers, PIBG and parents as well as the special candidates for SPM 2021. The ceremony was made even more lively when the recording slot from Ustaz Samsul Debat also became a filling slot. YOUR POPERATION BRIEFING FOR THE OPENING OF SCHOOLS IN 2022 SMK Medini has held a briefing on school operations. There are 3 parts of the briefing held to provide a more focused presentation, namely Form 1, lower form and upper form. At this briefing, parents were given a briefing in the form of a welcome speech from Cikgu Marsitah binti Mohd Noor (Principal of SMK Medini), an Academic Briefing by Cikgu Suliah Binti Samad (Administration PK), a School Opening SOP Briefing by Cikgu Zaharah binti Abu Salleh (PK HEM ) and Koku Briefing from Teacher Saliza Binti Idros (PK KoKu) CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION PROGRAMME The 2022 Chinese New Year Celebration Programme at the SMK Medini level has been implemented. FORM 1 NEW STUDENT TRANSITION PROGRAMME FOR 2022 ONLINE The Guidance and Counseling Unit, SMK Medini has organized the Form 1 Transition Program for the year 2022. This programme lasts for two days online (Google Meet). A total of 139 new Form 1 students of SMK Medini have successfully participated in this program. The completion of the planned program aims to give exposure and an initial overview to students regarding school rules, curriculum, co-curriculum and self-esteem throughout their studies at this school as well as appreciating the positive culture at SMK Medini. SCHOOL PROGRAMME PRESENTATION CEREMONY OF CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION FOR NATIONAL AND STATE LEVEL PRS COMPETITIONS AND PRS PROMOTION CERTIFICATES OF SMK MEIDNI YEAR 2022 Over the past 3 years, PRS SMK Medini actively participated in several competitions organized by KPM and JPN Johor. Congratulations to PRS SMK Medini for achieving success from 2020 to 2021. It was even sweeter when Innovation PRS Medini was selected to represent the State of Johor in the National Healthy Mind Innovation Competition in 2020. Not to be missed is the presentation of the PRS Level Up Certificate for 2021. The ceremony was completed by Cikgu Marsitah Binti Mohd Noor, Principal of SMK Medini accompanied by Cikgu Zaharah binti Abu Salleh Senior Assistant for Student Affairs of SMK Medini. It is hoped that PRS SMK Medini will continue to drive success in the future. 24 APRIL 2022 KASIH RAMADHAN PROGRAMME MEDINI The Welfare Unit in collaboration with the Student Voice Group (SVG) led by Danish Hazim bin Othman and PIBG SMK Medini organized the Kasih Ramadan Medini program. This donation involves all school members in need including students, security guards and cleaning workers. The school is pleased to receive donations from PPDJB as well as zakat assistance. Hopefully the help provided will bring cheer to the recipients in welcoming Aidil Fitri which will arrive soon. 28 APRIL 2022 KETUPAT WEAVING ACTIVITIES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MEDINI CLASSY RAYA 2022 CELEBRATION The co-curricular unit in collaboration with the Students' Voice Group (SVG 2021/2022) has organized the Medini Classy Raya 2022 program. One of the activities in this program is the ketupat weaving activity. The aim of this activity is :- 1- Cultivating the traditional cultural heritage of woven ketupat 2- Strengthening the unity of all races 3- Creating the culture of SMK Medini. 18 MAY 2022 3
TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION AT SCHOOL LEVEL IS WELCOMING AND MEANINGFUL The celebration this time was conducted in a simple manner with a march in followed by a speech by the student representative, a reading of the message and ended with a speech from Cikgu Marsitah binti Mohd Noor, Principal of SMK Medini. The celebration continued with the recitation of the pledge and the singing of the Kami Guru Malaysia song. The highlight of the event was completed with a cake cutting event and a short presentation by the teachers. The celebration this time was also celebrated by PIBG SMK Medini by attending the ceremony from the beginning and giving gifts to all the teachers. YDP PIBG, Log Ts Dr. Othman Bin Ibrahim also gave a speech at the gathering. "Guru Tunjang, Sekolah Sejahtera" REWANG RAYA AND MEDINI CLASSY RAYA CELEBRATION 2022 The rewang activities continued with the preparation of booths and the burning of lemang for the celebration of Raya involving teachers, students and parents. This rewang activity was also joined by Kota Iskandar assembly man YB Pandak Ahmad who reviewed the preparations for the Hari Raya celebration. The grand celebration of Medini Classy Raya 2022 was held on Sunday (22 May 2022). The welcome was also attended by Kota Iskandar assemblyman, YB Pandak Ahmad, KPPD Johor Bahru, Tuan Hj. Ahmad Kamal bin Ahmad Untong as well as all strategic partners of SMK Medini such as Yayasan Amir, IPD Iskandar Puteri and others. Encik Mohd Fadli bin Che Hashim (Desk Clerk) Assistant PPD Secondary and Form 6, Johor Bahru District Education Office, representatives from PIBG SMK Medini, the line of teachers and students also celebrated this event with full meaning. ENGLISH LANGUAGE PANEL On the 19th of June 2022, the English Language Panel has launched the Highly Immersive Program (HIP). The ceremony was officiated by the principal of SMK Medini, Cikgu Marsitah binti Mohd Noor. There are 34 students appointed as the English Peeps (EPs) of SMK Medini. The establishment of EPs are to: 1) support our bilingual culture, 2) increase proficiency among students and teachers, 3) assist teacher to inculcate English Language speaking culture in and out of the class, 4) run the HIP program, and 5) help to improve Medinian's confidence to communicate in English. The program is divided into 2 slots which are mutual aid and exploration around the school area. This program aims to build self-confidence and skills, instill a spirit of teamwork and create a sense of belonging among room members. SCHOOL PROGRAMME 2022 STEM CARNIVAL LAUNCH CEREMONY This carnival will last for 2 weeks starting from 14 to 28 July 2022. Eligible participants will have the opportunity to participate in the same competition in the Johor State Level STEM Carnival. Here are the posters for all the competitions that will be organized. SCHOOL PROGRAMME STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL OF SMK MEDINI 2022 August 14, 2022 (Wednesday), this date becomes history for SVG, Board of Supervisors, Resource Center Supervisors, Peer Mentors and Class Monitors & Assistant Monitors when they are officially commissioned today. This ceremony was completed by Cikgu Marsitah binti Mohd Noor, Principal of SMK Medini. Also witnessing this meaningful ceremony were the Senior Assistant Teachers and Senior Subject Teachers. Ending this ceremony was the recitation of the pledge led by Aleesya Raisya Binti Azli Suhaimy who is the President of SVG as Head of Students. Hopefully this ceremony will be an added value to the students to embroider the learning process until it reaches its peak. Wazif Wildan (4 Inovasi) 2. Aniq Amsyar (2 AE) Alhamdulillah both athletes have qualified for the 2nd round and have given great competition to more than 400 participants nationwide. Next they will compete in Perak this June. Medbees have been drawn to be in group B with 3 teams. The others are SMK Bandar Baru Uda (BBU), SMK Tun Syed Nasir Ismail (TSNI) and SMK Tasek Utara (TU). Here are the results of the match. NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP MSSD JOHOR BAHRU 2022 SMK Medini has sent 2 teams namely the Under 15 team & the Under 18 team to this tournament. Although the performance of each competing team shows a significant improvement, the SMK Medini Netball Team has shown a very proud achievement. COLLABORATION 30 JUNE 2022 LECTURE ON THE USE OF APPLE IPAD DEVICES FOR SMART PROGRAMS On June 30, 2022, Thursday, the Apple iPad Device Usage Talk program for the Cerdik Program took place in the Premiere Screening Room (BTP). The program started at 3.30pm and was delivered by the guest speaker, Puan Kamariah binti Salim from the School Management Unit, Johor State Education Department. He is an Apple Professional Learning Provider and has shared knowledge with students selected in the Cerdik Program. This program aims to strengthen the students' literacy in the use of iPad devices in the PdP process. In addition, it aims to introduce students to the Apple ecosystem which is easy and helps students in the use of today's technology. 28 FEBRUARY 2022 COMMUNITY SUPPORT SUPPORTS STUDENT SUCCESS SPM 2021 candidates of SMK Medini received a variety of support from the community to face the upcoming SPM. This program is a program inspired by the Johor State Education Department. This program is conducted by Mr. Norazam Bin Abdullah, State Education Counselor. Also present in the program was Ms. Kamariah Binti Salim, JPNJ Trust School Desk Officer and Mr. Mohd Fadhli Bin Che Hashim from PPD Johor Bahru. This program is conducted to build a sense of camaraderie between educators so that all the work that is done is done together in the fun of working and supporting each other.
