Sport of my life It makes you healthy, flexible and happy. That's why I like it very much and do it almost every day. Besides school where I have physical education classes I train karate kyokushin. Karate is the sport I love the most. I train very hard. Last year I won Karate European Championships and I became European champion. That was the one of the most beautiful moments in my life. I have a lot of medals and cups on my shelf from different karate tournaments and I treasure every one of them very much. It shows that my hard work is the only way to make success. I think that sport is great.

Besides karate I do other sports too. I like climbing with my father and we go to Jura quite often during summer. I love those trips very much because we are sleeping in a tent and we spend most of the time outside in the beautiful nature. I have a lot of friends there and we play a lot besides climbing. I play badminton too. This sport is very fast and can make you very tired. You have to run a lot and smash the shuttlecock with the rocket very hard. After every badminton training I'm very tired. It's exhausting. I think that sport is a very important part of our lives and keeps us in a perfect shape, no matter how old we are. I'm never going to stop and I absolutely love it! by Antonina Kowala 4C

My hobby is singing. I love music. I listen to music every day and everywhere. I take music lessons, I sing in a band Small TGD and I perform on stage. My biggest dream is to become a music star. My music idol is SARA JAMES - the winner of The Voice of Kids, the finalist of Junior Eurovison Song Contest and America's Got Talent. I follow Sara in Social Media. Her profile, videos and songs inspired me to create my own videos. I use Cap Cut application to edit, create and add special effects to videos with Sara James, and then I add them to my Instagram profile. Some time ago Sara noticed me and invited me to a TV program to meet her and her fans. I met Sara and her manager Igor Herbut from a band called Lemon personally. I talked to them and took some photos. It was a magical journey! Such a small application but it helped me to get my dream comes true!!! My Music Journey B Y A N I E L A C H I L I Ń S K A K L . 4 C

My Hobby Personally, I love sports and I have many friends who also love doing it. But I will not lie. In my case the phone also steals from me some time. However long months of isolation during the pandemic showed that what we like the most is just spending time together with friends. Sport gives us such not limited opportunities: volleyball, basketball, swimming pool, gymnastics, dance and many more activities. If you think the same, I would like to show you one of the most interesting way to spend free time. According to my experience, the aerial dance gives a lot of possibilities and everybody can find the best form of exercises for themselves. Combining of different tools such as silks, hoops, rings, swings and ropes you build elasticity and strengthen your body through different forces and types of movements. Imagine yourself at a height of 7-9 meters, held by special weaves of scarves, from which you perform acrobatic stunts in the air. 8S by Zofia Grójec If you exercise with friends - exercises should be fully synchronised. But this is just the starting point for great challenges and dance shows in the air. You can then tell each story by choosing the background music, designing costumes, scenery and various dance figures, using your favourite tools - e.g. aerial silks or aerial hoops. You can feel like a butterfly. This is what aerial dance is all about. What is the cost? For sure a little time for social media but first of all hours of hard training, very often sore muscles, sometimes bruises and moments of doubt. You learn to understand how your body works, how you can and should be focused and how important is cooperation with your partners. You will also understand that you can’t give up too quickly. Technical skills, concentration and cooperation with colleagues are very important - they ensure safety for the whole team and ensure that the shows are beautiful. REVIEW OF MY FAVOURITE BOARD GAME

I like board games a lot. I most enjoy playing with my parents and my brother. Recently, I received the game 'Trails of Tucana’ from my parents. It is a flip & write game. The rules of the game are simple. You have to develop a strategy, but you can also relax with it. The age of the players is 8+. Number of players from 1-8. The theme is tropical islands. It involves building networks, paths between ‘villages’ and scoring extra points. ‘Trails of Tucana’ combines simple rules with short gameplay times. One game takes about 15 minutes to play. TRAILS OF TUCANA ‘Trails of Tucana’ is a typical cross-out game. You reveal 2 land cards and then each player connects these field types with a line. And this is the shortest description of how to play. Of course, by connecting the corresponding points on the map with trails you will get points and bonuses. What do I like best? - The map cards, on which we draw the trails, have very nice graphics and are easy to read. - Simple rules. - The game is good for both young and old. My family and I like this game very much and we will certainly play it again. by Michał Ciesielski kl. 5a

Language learning apps are popular everywhere, because everyone wants to learn a language at their own pace, and preferably from an easily accessible item like your mobile phone. Here is the research I have done about the best ones you can use to help you become fluent in another language.

Depending on the way you learn, either of these apps could work for you. If you like to learn at your own pace and just a little practice per day, Duolingo might be for you. or maybe you already have it. If you need lots of repetition because you have trouble making things stick in your mind, Babbel will probably be the best choice. If you like face-to-face learning with a teacher, italki is best. You will be able to confirm things and ask any questions you want. This is also a good option if you really want to nail your pronunciation. Duolingo Duolingo is the world's most used language learning app. Depending on different languages, there are courses with 5-minute lessons. You can compete with friends, get points and buy items. Babbel Babbel is also a popular language learning app, but with Babbel you have a very similar layout to Duolingo, but use more flashcards for repetition. italki italki is a whole different system, where you can do live lessons with professional language teachers, live or pre-recorded.

If you want to survive school year you should be armed not only with your knowledge but also with tools, that can help. You can find many applications that can be helpful and useful. For example, during lessons teachers like to use application Kahoot. It is a game where you play with other students. You just have to answer to the questions, and you gain points. It helps us (students) to remember given topics. Except Kahoot you can find many other apps that can help you in studying. According to what the producers say… "SCIENCE IS A POWER KEY... Apps for notes Applications for notes can make work easier and help you get organized. Google Keep It is very similar app to OneNote but made by Google. It works with Chrome browser, Android and iOS. Your notes can be shared with others using Google environment. Keep allows to set reminders so you will never forget about importing things. Apps for learning math One of the most important subjects is math. One loves it, another one hates it. But everybody must know it. Photomath Photomath is camera-based program which allows to take photos of your homework with math equations and solve them. To start, you should point the equation and wait a few seconds for the equation to scan. Then, the solution appears on the screen. Very easy! When program does its work, you can tap a button to see the steps that were used to solve the equation. Of course, you should use it as a help for your homework or as help to find the right solution. You should not use it for cheating at the exam or in other situations. It is to make your knowledge wider not just mark something as done.

Microsoft Math Solver Microsoft Math Solver is a tool – kind of database - that shows solutions to math equations. It allows you to explore related content to the original math problem. The app supports many math topics from pre-algebra to calculus and often provides more than one method to find a solution. Using this app you can calculate parties, angles, area, perimeter, volume and many other things. Just all formulas for geometry in one place! Apps for languages Knowing how to use Google Translator is not the same as knowing the languages. Although knowing foreign language is hard stuff and consuming time, it is worth to make this afford. Duolingo Duolingo is a language learning tool that can be used by students and teachers. It uses ideology learning through game to faster know and learn new languages. From Spanish and French to Korean and Japanese, there are many language options to pick from, and the process of getting stated is very simple. This app is free. Memrise Memrise is a British language platform that uses spaced repetition of flashcards to increase the rate of learning. Nowadays more and more people spend their free time playing computer games. Sometimes it is difficult to choose a good computer game. Some of us like strategy games, others adventure games. There are plenty of choices. I present to you my three favourite computer games: My Top Three Computer Games by Oliwier Koźmiński 5A

3. MINECRAFT GAME FOR EVERYONE It‘s really an amazing game! You can do a lot of things in Minecraft. You can build various buildings. Look for diamonds (oops it‘s really hard because you can fall down to lava). You can kill various monsters, buildportals to another world and many others things! This game develops creativity, teaches cooperation and unconventional thinking. You canplay online with your friends. I recommend Minecraft. 2. FIFA GAME FOR FOOTBALL FANS This is a football game for everyone who is interested in sport. I love playing this game. In FIFA I can make my own players and create the whole team. Every time when I’m playing, I imagine how good real professional players are. If I don’t play my own team, I always choose Paris Saint-Germain FC with great players or FC Barcelona. My favourite football players are Kylian Mbappé and Robert Lewandowski. If you like playing football and watching football matches like me, this game is for you. 1. WRC-THE WINNER! If you are wondering how a real driver feels during a race, you want to feel what they feel - this game gives you those possibilities. The core of the game is racing on difficult terrain known as THE WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIPS. You can choose drivers, pilots and teams known in authentic games. I love this game! I can feel like a real driver. Maybe one of these games is your favourite? Maybe one of these games is your favourite?

My favourite computer game is World of Tanks. It is MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) Simulator action game. As a player, you can throw yourself into the Epic Tank battles and compare with players from all over the World. There are various kinds of tanks which shall be used for different kinds of missions. Very important thing is to be a great Commander, however it is all about teamwork. Victory is achieved while your skills as a Commander in combination with other members of your team will be fulfilled on the battlefield. This game is a combination of strategy and teamwork wich makes it very interesting for me. I can recommend this game to everyone who likes spending free time in the virtual world. by Janek Grójec 5a MMYY FFAAVVOOUURRIITTEE CCOOMMPPUUTTEERR GAME

Last year a lot of our teachers took part in various courses around Europe. All the courses were financed as a part of Erasmus+. It is a European Union programme designed to support and promote international projects as a form of teacher and student development. Teachers participated both in language and methodology courses. They could develop their language skills and acquire new skills that could later be implemented in everyday school practice. Below you can see some pictures from Cyprus, Malta, Ireland and Spain. Can you recognise your teachers? Erasmus +
