INNOVATION (ITEX'21)
(WORLD YOUNG INVENTORS EXHIBITION GOLD MEDAL &
MALAYSIAN YOUNG INVENTORS EXHIBITION AWARD)
Social Fun Park has been successful in garnering attention on a global
scale through competitions and exhibitions over the past year. In 2021,
Social Fun Park participated in ITEX'21—an international marketplace for
ideas and inventions—under The World Young Inventors Exhibition (WYIE)
2021, which was held alongside the Asian Young Inventors Exhibition (AYIE)
and the Malaysian Young Inventors Exhibition (MYIE). ITEX'21, being in its
32nd year, was set to bring together some of the best ideas from around
the world under the theme RESET. REINVENT. REIMAGINE. The exhibition,
co-organized by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and
C.I.S, has since become the region's most visible international platform for
inventions and innovations, featuring more than 1,000 inventions and
attracting at least 13,100 visitors from 56 countries in 2019. ITEX'21
includes competitions for invention design, industry seminars, pitching
sessions, and other activities. Social Fun Park managed to win Gold for
outstanding invention and a place in the Top 3 Tertiary Category.
