Explore Fabulous Snake Island Dive Site in Port Blair
Snake Island coral reef is a popular scuba diving spot lying 800 meters off Corbyns Cove Beach. The reef is occupied by non-aggressive yet venomous banded sea kraits (sea snakes) who prefer to take shelter in tropical warm shallow water. Snake Island is a rocky reef that starts from 4 meters and touches the sandy bottom at 12 meters. The calm and clear water of the reef is equally suitable for beginners and experienced divers.
