In August 1995 one man started his journey in 800 sqft of factory space. In the first
week, he single-handedly manufactured his very first window & door. The name
'Direct' was born out of the idea customers could buy direct from his factory. He

one-of-the first companies to launch a performance rated window system.

Today we still manufacture a leading rating, establishing ourselves as the go-to

30 times, employ hundreds of people and produce thousands of windows, doors,
conservatories and roofs per week.

Window energy ratings were launched to provide
consumers with a factual interpretation of the overall
window performance. The calculation of a performance
rating is based on three aspects of a nominal size
window. By law, all window companies should specify
the overall performance of the window they will install.

U Value (Measure of heat loss).
G Value (Measure of heat capture).
L Value (Measure of air leakage).

The higher the number after 'A' the better the window
performance. We are committed to offering our

Flush Sash NEW

Flush sash, also known as flush casement windows, are

characterised by sashes that close flush with the external

face of the window. When closed the window sash is level

with the outer frame creating a minimalistic finish.

The flush style, is accentuated by the black seal
encompassing the frames sash. This detail creates a look
of 'picture framing' on lighter profile colours.

The most common style of flush sash configurations is
opening sashes combined with 'dummy' openers. An
additonal heritage design using simplistic georgian or
astragal bars can also be achieved.
