The class begin with knowing the subject and what it is all about where the introduction was being proceed. We were exposed about the subject, topic, title and the whole assesment needed to be done for the subject. Date Today's Mood Class Summarization Pictures Reflection 4/7/2023 Day Tuesday Pictures It was on Tuesday which the second day of class, we were learning about the first topic which is teaching and microteaching. We learnt a lot such as the definition, the process of teaching, the advantages of micro teaching, types of micro teaching, the principles and the steps of micro teaching. Then there are some questions given to check on our understanding for the lesson. We also have been take a look on examples of lesson plan and examples of portfolio reflection for the assesment. 5/3/2023 Day Wednesday Date Today's Mood Class Summarization Pictures S Reflection M T W T F S Pictures It was Wednesday for the third class, we learn about learning strategy, the 21st century learning and the type of i-THINK Map. After the lecture, we were told to do some research and chose few learning strategy, then match it with the activity that can be done suitable according to it and it must the 21st century learning method. The task then been discuss together and few students shared their answers.
6/7/2023 Thursday Date Today's Mood Class Summarization Pictures Pictures Reflection Pictures Day It was on Thursday and it’s the forth class, we were learning about the lesson plan. We were shown with an example of lesson plan and go through it one by one. We learn it details and understand the way to do it step by step. After heard all the explanation and lecture, we worked on a task that been given which the class need to develop and build sentence for the activity. The activity is one of the body part in the lesson plan. As we complete the task, we did discuss and shared answers to check our level of understanding and monitor the development progress.
Today's Mood Date It was on Monday, we learn on a new topic which is the teaching and learning objectives. We learnt about the definition, role, characteristic and benefits of learning outcomes for teachers. For the characteristic needed in preparing learning outcome is using the “SMART” tips. Then, we learn on the reason of why teachers have to share the learning outcomes with student and how to share the learning outcomes. After that, we learn about Bloom Taxonomy skill which it is crucial for the learning outcomes development. It needs to be understand so it can be apply correctly when doing the learning outcomes. We did a task which required us to use the Bloom Taxonomy skills. It asses and evaluate our clarification and ensurement about using the Bloom Taxonomy in correct way. There are 6 level of Bloom Taxonomy and we were required to give one scene of situation for each level. Then, we did a presentation to share the answer of the task. Date Today's Mood Class Summarization Pictures Pictures Reflection Pictures 11/7/2023 Day Tuesday It was on Tuesday, the class continue with few presentation of yesterday’s task which the group was not yet take turn in the presentation. The class proceed with learning the steps in statements of learning objective. We also learnt to identify if the learning objective given by our lecturer have enough criteria of statements or not.

Then the class did an activity task which was we have to come out with ine mearning objective that suits our activity. Date Today's Mood Class Summarization Pictures It was on Thursday, the class learnt about set induction. It was part of the lesson plan. We got to learn how to make an effective set induction for the lesson plan so that it can attract our future students when we become a teacher in the future. It teach us on how to make a proper and correct set induction. After the lecture finished, we were assigned to do one set induction using all the tips and steps which had been taught. Date Today's Mood It was on Monday, we learn about new topic which is stimulus variation. We learn about the benefits, assesment criteria, Robert Gagne and the 9 events of instruction. Then after the lecture, we were asked to work in groups and choose a topic. Next, after choosing the topic, we have to think on how to deliver it and use the stimulus variation strategies based on Gagne ’s 9 events steps. After finishing the task, we were told to take turn and present it infront of the class with just one representative from each group. It was on Tuesday, we learn a learning pyramid and how to conduct a class. Then, we learn on teaching aids such as the definition, the role, the type and the example of teaching aids. After that, we did few task related to the topic learnt. We have to come out with 5 teaching aids that use in physical classroom. 1 activity for 1 teaching aids. We also have to state the language skill, the topic and activity that can be carried out using the teaching aids. We were asked to present infront of the class after finishing the task. It was on Thursday, the class begin with a presentation of weekly lesson plan. Each group present 2 lesson plan. My group presented Speaking skill and Listening skill lesson plan during the moment. Each group will receive a comment and feedback after they done with the presentation. It’s a necessity so that we can improve and work on where we lack of. It was on Monday, the class learnt about new topic which is Questioning Techniques. We read a passwge about earthquake. We have been told to come out with a questions that can be ask in class and read out the question while choose anyone in the class to answer. We also learnt the characteristics of a good question and how to start the questions. Then, we learnt two type of questions which is open and closed questions. We learnt other thing related such as how to handle student responses, strategies that can be use when students respond, strategies for responding to student question and strategies to use when students do not respond in class. It was on Monday, the class begin with a new topic which is closure in a lesson. It teach us on how to do an effective closure in lesson plan. In the topic we looked on the importance of closure, what is closure, the purpose of closure in lesson, the role of closure and the type of way in closure. After that, we did a task in group which was choose a topic and suggest 5 ways to do the closure. Then, we have a presentation as to discuss the task together. Date Today's Mood It was on Tuesday, the class start with new topic which is use of white/blackboard in classroom. We learnt the benefits, the role, how to organize, ways to use and tips for using white/blackboard. We learnt that using white/blackboard is crucial and must be handle in the right way. There are some perspective that need to be consider such as the handwriting, the management of anything that will be write and style of using the white/blackboard. After the lecture, we were told to write on a mahjung paper that we have been told to bring, it was to be use in the task given. We have been asked to write anything on the mahjung paper and consider it more like the white/blackboard so we can practice a well handwriting. As everyone done, we paste our work infront to be shown, presented and discuss. Our lecturer then give feedback and comment for the work. Conclusion By the end of the class, overall it was great and fun. We learnt a lot of thing and it make us prepare for our internship. Everything was quite smooth and well. We feel sad at the last day of class since the class is one of our favourite’s. It was a quick class because we had this subject at short semester.
