DYA10022 INTRODUCTION TO AGRICULTURE TECHNOLOGY
INTRODUCTION
Upstream refers to points in production that originate early on in the processes. Also called exploration and
production (E&P), upstream is farthest from the end-user consumer in the oil & gas supply chain. Upstream
activities include exploration, drilling, and extraction.
CDIO
Upstream in agriculture means includes inputs to agriculture, such as seeds, fertiliser, machinery and technology for
new areas such as precision agriculture upstream processing comprises tasks in the initial stages of the fermentation
process in biotechnology. This includes all steps related to the development of microorganisms , nutrient preparation,
cell culture , cell separation and harvesting. In the petroleum
industry, locating underground or underwater oil reserves
characterizes the upstream process additionally the upstream
process in this industry involves bringing oil and gas to the
surface upstream supplied raw material such as
petroleum.Upstream is market leading in oil and gas so we
need upstream to make midstream and downstream works.

RECOMMENDATION
In total, results from thirteen surveys and 75 documents are available for data analysisand for the
development of recommendations. In order to answer the RQs, the qualita-tive data from the surveys and
literature reviews were analyzed and interpreted usingqualitative content analysis ,MAXQDA 2020.And
Microsoft Excel.First, to determine the scope of responsibilite, the surveys were structuredon a case-by-
case basis using deductive content analysis. For this purpose, existingtheory-based categories were
selected, anchor examples were taken from the text andcoding rules were established. The defined
categories were based on the classification ofthe literature in Table 2 and were similar to the stages of the
food supply chain upstreamsupply chain, company level, downstream supply chain, and beside the supply
chain.Inaddition, the minimum and the maximum units for the coding units had to be specified.
CONCLUSION
As concludes all of our reasearch about upstream we need upstream for raw materials that has a good
quality to start midstream and downstream so we can get the good quality products in gas and oil.
