Open recirculating cooling water systems are continuously exposed to atmospheric conditions, which makes them highly susceptible to various operational threats. Mineral scale formation, me tal corrosion, & microbial biofilm development represent the most critical challenges affecting system reliability & heat transfer efficiency. Kimia Lotus Chemicals, by providing intelligent chemical programs & applying specialized technical expertise, delivers comprehensive & highly effective solutions to mitigate these challenges:DispersantsDispersant s are specialized polymers designed to prevent particle agglomeration and adhesion, thereby maintaining suspended solids in a stable dispersed state within the cooling water. By controlling surface charge, these products inhibit the initial deposition of calcium scales, silica, metallic particles, and corrosion by-products on heat transfer surfaces and cooling tower packing.In open cooling systems, dispersants play a vital role in particle dispersion, reduction of composite scale formation (such as calcium–phosphate and iron–silica), and enhancement of biocide perf ormance through disruption of the scale–biofilm matrix. For high-hardness waters and high-cycle concentration systems, dispersants constitute the core of professional antiscalant treatment programs.Non-Oxidizing Biocide1. Isothiazolinone-Based BiocideA fast-acting biocide for the control of bacteria, algae, and aerobic microorganisms. It is effective against anaerobic microorganisms such as sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB); however, its penetration capability is limited. For complete biofilm control, it is commonly applied in combination with glutaraldehyde. This biocide demonstrates good stability across a wide range of cooling water qualities.2. Glutaraldehyde-Based BiocideA highly penetrating biocide and the most effective option for controlling SRB and anaerobic microorganisms. It destroys biofilm structures deep within deposits & provides superior performance for periodic shock dosing in open recirculating cooling systems. It maintains stable efficacy under fluctuating pH and temperature conditions.3. Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs)Effective against aerobic microorganisms & the initial layers of biofilm, with excellent surface-active dispersion properties. Although not sufficient alone for complete SRB control, QACs d i s r u p t t h e b i o f i l m m a t r i x a n d s i g n i f i c a n t l y e n h a n c e glutaraldehyde perf ormance. They are suitable for dual-biocide programs in systems with moderate to high microbiological loading.Corrosion and Scale Inhibitors1. Zinc PhosphonateZinc phosphonate acts as an effective corrosion inhibitor f or carbon steel by f orming a stable protective film on the metal surface. This film protects the substrate against both base corrosion and the adverse effects of scale deposition. The compound exhibits high resistance under oxidizing conditions and in the presence of biocides, thereby enhancing equipment service life and maintaining optimal system performance.2. PolyphosphatesScale inhibitors and metal protectants that control calcium and magnesium scale f ormation, prevent f ouling of piping and equipment, and provide secondary corrosion protection to metallic surfaces.3. Organic InhibitorsCorrosion protectants for carbon steel.These compounds f orm a protective film on metal surfaces, reduce direct contact between water and aggressive ions, inhibit surface corrosion, and extend equipment service life. Application of organic inhibitors ensures optimal system performance under various operating conditions.4. Organic Corrosion & Scale InhibitorsEnvironmentally friendly, multifunc tional f ormulations designed f or the simultaneous control of corrosion and scale formation. These products are compatible with systems sensitive to phosphates and heavy metals.They disrupt biofilm structure, enhance glutaraldehyde performance, & are well suited for dual-biocide programs in systems with moderate to high microbial load.Advanced Protection, Biological Control, and Inhibition Programs for Open Recirculating Cooling Water Systems
سیستمهای خنککنندۀ مدار باز، به واسطۀ تماس مستقیم با اتمسفـر، همواره در معرض تهدیدات گوناگونی قرار دارند. تشکیل رسوبات معدنی، خوردگی فلزات و رشد بیوفیلمهای میکـروبی از جمله مهمترین این چالشها به شمار میروند. کیمیـا لوتوس شیمی با ارائۀ سیستمهای شیمیایی هوشمند و بهرهگیـری از دانش تخصصی، راهکارهای جامع و مؤثری را برای مقابله با این مشکالت ارائه مینماید:دیـسـپـرسـانـت )Dispersant)دیسپرسانتها پلیمرهای تخصصی هستند که با جلوگیــری از چسبندگی و تجمع ذرات، رســـوبات معلق را در آب کولینگ پایدار نگه میدارند.این مواد با کنترل بار سطحی، ذراتی مثل رسوبات کلسیمی، سیلیکـــا، ذرات فلزی و محصوالت خوردگی، مانع تشکیــل رسوب اولیه روی سطوح مبدل و پکینگ میشوند.در کولینگ مدار باز، نقش مهمی در پراکندگی ذرات، کاهش رسوبهـــــای ترکیبی )کلسیم–فسفـــــات، آهن–سیلیکــا( و تقویت عملکرد بایوسایدهــــــا، از طریق باز کردن ساختــــــــار رسوب–بیوفیلم دارند. برای آبهــای سخت و سیستمهـــــایی با سیکل تمرکز باال، انتخــــاب اصلی برنامههای ضدرسوب حرفهای است.انواع بایوسایدهای غیر اکسیدکننده۱ .بایوساید پایۀ ایزوتیازولین )Isothiazolinone)بایوســـــــــاید سریعاالثر برای کنتـــــرل باکتریها، جلبکها و میکروارگانیسمهــــــای هوازی است. روی میکروبهــای غیرهوازی مانند SRB اثر دارد، اما توان نفـــــــوذ آن محدود است؛ برای کنتـــرل کامل بیوفیلم ً در کنار گلوتارآلدهید استفـاده میشود و در انواع معموالآبهای کولینگ پایداری خوبی دارد. ۲ .بایوساید پایۀ گلوتارآلدهید )Glutaraldehyde)بایوساید با قدرت نفــــــوذ باال و مؤثرترین گزینه برای SRB و میکروبهای بیهوازی؛ ساختار بیـــــوفیلم را در عمق تخریب میکنــــد و برای شوکدوزهای دورهای در کولینگ مدار باز ، بهترین عملکرد را دارد. در شرایط نوســـــان دما و pH هم اثر پایدار خود را حفظ میکند.۳ .بایوسـاید پایۀ کواترنری(Quaternary Ammonium Compounds – QACs)مؤثر بر میکروبهای هوازی و سطح اولیۀ بیوفیلم، با توانایی پخش سطحی باال. بهتنهایی برای حذف SRB کافی نیستنــد، اما ساختاربیوفیلم را باز کرده و راندمان گلوتارآلدهید را افزایش میدهند و برای سیستمهای با بار میکروبی متوسط تا باال گزینۀ مناسبی در ترکیبهای دوگانه هستند.۱ .زینک فسفونات )Zinc Phosphonate(بازدارندۀ خوردگی فلزات کربن استیل، با ایجـاد الیۀ محافظ پایدار روی سطح کربن استیـــل، فلز را در برابر خوردگی پایه و تأثیر رسوبات محافظت میکند. مقاومت باال در شرایط اکسیـــــدکننده و بایوسایدهـــا را دارد و باعث افزایش طول عمر تجهیـــــزات و حفظ عملکرد بهینه سیستم میشود.)Polyphosphates( پلیفسفاتها. ۲بازدارندۀ رســـــوب و محافظ فلزات، با کنترل رسوبهـــــــای کلسیـم و منیزیم، از گرفتگی لولههــا و تجهیزات جلوگیری کرده و حفاظت ثانویه از فلزات را فراهم میکنند.ٌ۳ .بازدارندههـــای آلی )Organic Inhibitors(محافظ خوردگی فلـــزات کربن استیل؛ این ترکیبـات با تشکیـل یک فیلم محــــافظ روی سطح فلز، تمــاس مستقیـم با آب و یونهای مهـاجم را کاهش میدهند، از خوردگی سطحی جلوگیری کرده و طول عمر تجهیـزات را افزایش میدهند. استفـاده از بازدارندههای آلی باعث حفظ عملکــرد بهینۀ سیستم در شرایط عملیاتی مختلف میشود.۴ .بازدارنـدۀ خوردگی و رسوب پایۀ ارگانیک)Organic Corrosion & Scale Inhibitor( ترکیبـاتی دوستدار محیط زیست، با عملکـــــــــرد چندگانه در کنتــــــــــرل همزمان خوردگی و رسوب؛ و سازگار با سیستمهای حســــاس به فسفـات و فلزات سنگین است.صیانت، کنترل بیولوژیکی و بازدارندگی پیشرفتهبرای سیستمهای خنککننـدۀ مدار باز
