SAVING HUMANS BY FINDING

4 JANUARY 2020 DOGGIERESCUE.COM CATS E-MAGAZINE

• Feline FEATURE Thoughts of a homeless cat…..

The Rules

of Fairness

Hi lovely Readers,

I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, so I decided
it was time I put myself ‘out there’ and stood in the
spotlight of homeless catness. My name is Scarlett
and I have now spent two Christmases at Monika’s
DoggieRescue Shelter. This is my BLOG and you will
have to bear with me as I put my thoughts, hopes and
aspirations together with the help of Hien. I mean I’m a
cat, I cannot do this by myself even as clever as I am.
I’ve called my BLOG “ The Rules of Fairness” because
life is not fair and there should be rules to make sure
everyone is noticed and loved. I have so many special
qualities but who knows about them?

Why life isn’t fair!
I was abandoned pregnant and
rescued with my kittens when I
was only a baby myself. I’m so
happy they all found homes so
quickly—they were very pretty,
like their mummy. If life was fair I
would have been adopted too but
it is much harder for an adult cat
to find a home. I’ve been waiting a
while now and would love a home
of my own too. I won’t take up
much room as I’m only tiny myself!
It’s the new year and in all fairness
it really should be my year to be
adopted!

“ I like to spend quiet time on my
own and enjoy a bit of “me” time
away from all the other cats when
MY GOAL IN LIFE : This is a BLOG so do I need a goal?
Life is all about being happy. I’m a good cat but how do I I can. I don’t mind playing chase
stand out amongst so many other ‘good’ cats? How do I with them though as it keeps me
make readers see my uniqueness? My goal is to be loved active. I am very careful to keep
my figure slim and attractive.”
but how do I achieve it?

but how does the Window Box Dreaming:
world see me? As you can see I love looking

what is beyond this amazing

to myself with a lovely

Food Blogging:
I’m a real foodie. I love eating,
it’s one of my hobbies and I
would have my own cat food
blog if I could find a human to
help me write it. Yummm
freshly cooked chicken, roo

Well meaning intentions:
I do enjoy pats and scratches under the chin... but I have a quota
and will let you know very gently if I’ve already enjoyed too many
pats. I’m independent, not a lap cat but you could win me over if
you tried…

Blog’s end…
I will continue to daydream and search outside and will wait
patiently for you to take me home. I can’t wait to have a human
to share my meal times with! I will be judged by the amount of
readers who remember me. I may be a homeless cat but I will
never give up my dreams of love.

Let’s meet!
You will find me window box dreaming and waiting for my next
dinner. From one blogger to another, Happy New Year!

A year filled with special memories—rescues, adoptions
and happy ever after endings. Cats who we grew to love so
much while they were in our care. Cats of every colour who
had only one thing in common...they survived abandonment
and found a whole new life with their forever families.

So from all of these cats ( some pictured ), and the ones waiting still,
To everyone who volunteered, donated and helped us pay the bill
There is just one thing left to say, and say it loudly we will!!!

T H A N K Y O U !

Without your help, these cats would not have survived - for the kitties who are still waiting,
Let us work hard together and find them all forever families, in the brand new year, 2020

then...

Most of the cats sitting in pounds right now are
abandoned pets. The reasons given for giving
up their pets range from...

• We are moving
• We have a baby now
• He’s not cute anymore
• I am allergic to cats
• We are going on holidays and will get
another when we come back

A stranger came and took me away

Hi, my nickname is Lucky. Imp: 8069
I was found dumped in a crate with my five beautiful
kittens ( see left) in the facilities car park with no indication
of where I came from or who I belonged to. My kittens are
now large enough to be adopted separately. I and my
kittens desperately need loving homes and families to
give us a safe haven so we can put 2019 behind us. I am
hoping to live up to my name and find my forever family.
