the hook tab is in the proper position.

3. When taking measurements, use a lock and a
mark to hold to keep the blade from slipping
into the housing

4. If you want to take a longer measurement,
enlist the assistance of another person to
hold the tape blade on the hook.

5. To avoid injury, avoid holding the edge of the
tape blade while inserting the tape back into
the housing.

SAFETY FACTORS WHILE USING A CHISEL

1. Avoid using a mushroom-headed chisel since the
shards may float and strike the eyes.

2. Do not hold the chisel with oily hands; instead, wipe
the hands before holding the chisel.

3. The sculpted item should be securely held in the vice.

4. Never use a broken chisel for sculpting work.

5. When tapping, keep the chisel near to his skull.

6. Do not stand directly in front of those who are
sculpting.

7. While sculpting, keep an eye on the area to be
sculpted.

31.

CHISEL STORAGE METHOD

Chisels must be stored in a certain location. Because the chisel points
will come into touch with one other or crash with other things if the
chisel is kept arbitrarily, the chisel will become swiftly damaged and
dull. You may use a magnetic shelf to keep the chisel or make a
separate chisel shelf out of two pieces of wood affixed to the wall of a
cabinet or board. Furthermore, if you wish to put the chisel in a box or
equipment container, the chisel may be covered with a plastic cover,
which will protect the chisel blade from being hit and rubbed with other
equipment, preserving the chisel's quality.

o This assignment is very beneficial as it expose many types of hand tools and also
how to use hand tools correctly. We will use this experience when working at the
school later. This writing provides a solid explanation and understanding of the
function of a hand tools

o This experience may not be repeated at another time and place. We can also
recognize different types of hand tools and some we do not know the name and
