From the 25th to the 27th of August 2017, the Water Vision team along with a
member of the Eco-school and a member of the Energy Efficiency Challenge
squad participated in the Friends with Rivers and Oceans Camp 2017 at Shalom
Valley, Inanam. We got new friends from schools all around Sabah. The
organisers invited a few speakers to educate the participants about the
environment including Professors from UMS and the Unduk Ngadau winner. All
in all, it was an amazing experience and a great opportunity to learn more about
mother nature.

15.0 Conclusion
This project reveals the importance of waste management and
spreading awareness to the community. It is found that there is deficiency in
awareness and the attitude of community towards waste management in the
first place when they are not entirely exposed to our project yet. However, this
project is a turning point that changes the community that participated in this
project to a better environmentalist individual.
It was a great opportunity and learning experience for the Water Vision
team while working on this project. This project took us through different levels
of community and that taught us how to convey our views on wastage and
provide a solution to them. The joy of working and building a passion to make
the world a waste-free place while taking various problems and challenges
gave us a feel of developers at such young age.
It was due to this project that we, the Water Vision team came to know
how to increase our social skills, communication skills, planning and research
skill, organizing a programme, expanding our circle of community, spread
waste management messages, overcoming real life issue and intensify our
thinking skills since we go through various levels of community.
We enjoyed each and every bit of work we had put into this project.
This project will not end just yet. We will rise to a higher level for this project is
very much potential to go beyond. Hence, without ever giving up since the
beginning of the project, we end with; -
‘Crusading towards zero waste’
